Heavy Stuff Pt. 5

Recorded with Ableton Live session view.  The drums are a Battery 3 kit with the Popsticks samples from Analogue Drums.com.  The bass was run through the Line 6 Gearbox plug-in,  the SVT amp.  The guitars were run through Guitar Rig 5, the Marshall amps.  I used no compression on the master track,  just Crysonic's Spectralive, Bias Replic-q (to reduce some of the mud) and Ableton's Limiter to get it louder without squashing it too much.

Kaskade - Feeling The Night (JX Edit)

Recorded with Ableton Live in my apartment on the 12th floor. The guitar tracks were recorded with an Epiphone goth les paul, the rhythm track was the line 6 gearbox plugin with the bassman amp and rat pedal sim.  The lead guitar was also the line 6 gearbox but used the Engl amp sim.  The Bass is a JB bass with the line 6 gearbox plugin using the silverface bass amp sim and the drums were midi'd with kontakt 5 using analog drums's Gorilla multi outs.  Just like the rest, recorded in pieces then pieced together.

Welcome to Hall of Fame! Awhile back we decided to let some of our favorite dubstep producers access the drum and bass vaults of Human Imprint and work their magic on a few of our greatest hits. These six heat-seeking bangers are the end result. Where to begin? Mark Instinct and Nerd Rage bring their AAA game to SPKTRM's seminal anthem "Planet Human" and warp it into a 140 bpm bass kraken. Best reinforce the walls when this thing drops because it will bring the fucking building down. Atlanta's trap god and Subhuman bass machine Mayhem drops a seriously dirty remix of Demo's cracking "OD". UK dubstep scientists Bare Noize turn up the epic synths and lower the subs on their killer remake of Zardonic and Counterstrike's "Hardcore Will Never Die". The drum and bass / electro hybrid "Midnight Express" gets turnt the fuck up with a dazzling remix by SPL and his homies Ill Gates and Triage. Check the breakdown! The menacing dnb amen rinseout "The Rapture" by Evol Intent and Ewun is mutated into a chugging 140bpm bass monster by the one and only Numbernin6. Finally our boys Pixel Fist take a swing at "System Activated" and the result - the dubstep equivalent of a Terminator 9000. Big, bionic and brutal.

So here you have it. Six gigantic tracks that will crush the club and hurt some fucking feelings. Don't be caught sleeping.
