Throughout these past months we met up to share our mutual enthusiasm for mixing records and basically…music in general. After months of completely neglecting the 'record' button we finally decided to switch it to 'on'. The result is this 2 hour mix that celebrates the awesomeness that is music.

The plan for this mix was to have no plan what so ever. The idea of the Solid Sessions concept? …we couldn't tell you if we tried. The best way to sum it all up might just be: 'Fuck it, just press record. Let's mix some records!'

Het heeft jaren geduurd maar Simplon heeft weer een eigen hardcore avond. En dan hardcore in de elektronische vorm zoals het in de jaren ’90 werd uitgevonden.

Headliner Spitnoise vertegenwoordigt de huidige generatie up-tempo hardcore en het gaat sinds hij bij Footworxx zit hard met zijn carrière! Niet te missen voor de liefhebber. Demanufacturer staat voor de industrial hardcore-sound en mocht in Groningen al eens in Paradigm bij Convoi Exceptionnel en in Subsonic opdraven om zijn vernietigende kicks en snares in combi met harde basslijnen te presenteren.

Noize Syndrome, Pathogen en Different Aspects lieten in de stad ook al vele malen van zich horen en vertegenwoordigen eveneens de meer break-geörienteerde hoek in de hardcore. Vreestyle, Gabber Syndrome, DJ sinaK-E, Balder en Noizebanger dekken de rest van het genre van early tot mainstream af en MC J-Nutz zal de energie vanaf het podium erin houden!
