WINE UP DUB

Roland released the TR-606 “Drumatix”, the cosmetic twin to the TB-303, in 1981. At the dawning of the digital era, two of the most influential producers in reggae - Prince Jammy in Kingston and Bullwackie in The Bronx - each bought one, adding to their increasingly electronic rhythm and bass sections. Nearly ten years later it would be phased out in favor of Casios and Yamahas - digital samples taking over in lieu of synthetic analog sounds. But in this period of around 1983 to 1985, as dancehall switches from roots playing and jamming towards the harder, stripped down sound of the 90s, the simultaneously sharp and soft sound of the TR-606 can be heard in many classics. This mix is an ode to that era of dancehall and the mighty TR-606.

Albin et Simon sont partis à l'assaut de l'or de nos toilettes en visitant l'entreprise Sanisphère qui fabrique des toilettes sèches dans la Drôme .

"Dans ce reportage que vous allez écouter nous avons voulu faire découvrir la richesse que nous avons dans nos toilettes, c'est-à-dire les urines et les matières fécales qui sont de grandes sources énergétiques. Pour pouvoir réaliser notre reportage au mieux nous avons voulu avoir plusieurs points de vue différents expliquant l’assainissement écologique et la réutilisation des matières. Nous nous sommes fixé l’objectif qu’avec ce reportage nous fassions changer les mentalités, qu’il y ait une prise de conscience des hommes sur leurs déjections. Pierre Colombot, fondateur de l'entreprise Sanisphère nous explique comment il voit l’avenir des toilettes dans le monde avec un projet de toilettes éternelles, mais aussi des projets florissants pour les camps de réfugiés notamment en Grèce, Gaël Léopold, directeur de l'association Toilettes du Monde nous explique le potentiel après réutilisation de nos déjections."
