I am very excited to anounce the POLYEND TRACKER LEGOWELT EDITION! The Polyend Tracker is a full self contained hardware tracker sampler sequencer with MIDI from Poland. If you are not familiar with Trackers, they were software sequencers back in the 1990s on computers like the Commodore AMIGA and PC in which you can sequence samples on 4 to 8 channels. The most famous of these were OCTAMED and PROTRACKER, These trackers gave an unique groove and sound and played a vital role in the development and creation of certain music styles (Like oldschool Jungle, Gabber and Bunker sewertechno and electro for example).  This Polyend tracker can read .mod files and import & export wav. audio via SD cards and has lots of other bells and whistles! You can sequence MIDI and you can set everything to 12 or even 8 bit for extra crunchyness and punch! Also inlcuded are filters, wavetable & granular synthesis, an FM radio(!) . And it’s also super easy to use & FAST, especially if you are familiar with trackers, like me I didn’t even had to read the manual.

This special edition comes with an unique faceplate designed by myself. Also inside there are 5000+ sounds from my sample archive (1000+ new fresh specially designed ones for this tracker!), 26 project files with finished songs you can play and study, including preset loaded drumkits so you can jammmm instantly.

KOMPAKT fans should have been familiar with the name Nicky Elisabeth for some time now. At the beginning of 2019, Nicky joined the KOMPAKT family and from then on was spotted more and more often not only at KOMPAKT events, but also in the line-ups of renowned festivals (DGTL, Strafwerk, amongst others) and clubs. And who doesn't remember the legendary "Kompakt Pop Up Party" in October 2019 during the Amsterdam Dance Event, streamed live from Nicky's living room, where together with Michael Mayer and Rex The Dog she finally conquered our hearts in a flash? 

Nicky Elisabeth lives and works in Amsterdam and is one of the resident DJs of De Marktkantine, one of the most established clubs in the Dutch capital and long-time host of KOMPAKT parties of all kinds. Anyone who has experienced one of these parties there will find much of the special atmosphere and punchy sound of those nights in Nicky's KOMPAKT debut 12inch "Celeste". 

It seems obvious to interpret the two tracks "Celeste" and "Say" as a kind of loving homage to the KOMPAKT sound of the last three decades. With sparing means Nicky manages to elicit a maximum of energy and catchiness from her two tracks, always carried by a sure instinct for breaks and the right timing for small escalations - something that good DJs simply have in their blood. In the end, it's always about the dramaturgy. 

The two remixes of the title track "Celeste" from the hands of the grand masters Robag Wruhme and Roman Flügel are no less "celestial" than the original. Robag Wruhme in particular gives the piece something wonderfully floating and dreamy in his arrangement, as he also managed to do on his 12-inch "Yes/Calma Calma“ (KOM EX 115). Roman builds in little deconstructions here and there, sometimes going left, sometimes heading right, to finally let himself be carried away by the good-humoured nineties vibe. One can hardly wait to finally experience all this on the dance floor again.

Hailing from Caracas Venezuela, Pablo Sánchez has made his home in Barcelona, carving out an impressive reputation for exciting and eclectic productions and performances. Here, he drops a hugely impressive three tracker for Hamburg’s hafendisko label.
‘Daydream’ is built around a throbbing groove. Thick, punchy kicks and snappy snares set the tone, before the bubbling, rolling baseline brings the propulsion. Spacey synths and shuffling percussion suggest a love of the more outer-fringes of disco and house, before the vocal drops to bring the whole track together.
Pablo Bolivar produces a crispy remix - tonnes of space and dynamism in the mix allows the elements to breath and find their own function - the track explodes into life with a full throttle release of kinetic energy - sure to hit hard when deep into the more cosmic parts of the night.
‘Mahari’ is a finely crafted and slickly executed piece that exists in the same orbit as ‘Daydream’ ,but finds a different way to shine - pulsing synth tones and stuttering effects cast the vibe deep into space - one that will stick with the more outernational dancefloor troopers.

1987... for those lucky enough visiting a decent import shop in that year could have seen a US import record with pink label showing a darts board with small text next to the picture saying ''Target records'' and ''Joe R. Lewis''. Pretty sure nobody at that time would be alarmed by this... reading further it said... 1. Love Of My Own... Written and produced by Joe R. Lewis... in even smaller text the label info continued; mixed by Larry Heard..! And even that, at that time that would not have rung a bell, except for maybe a couple of dj's who only just in the last couple months picked up copy of a Mr. Fingers record and memorised the writer credits. We're talking the very early days of House music, the pre-internet era where new music and info didn't spread all over the globe within a couple of seconds... Now more then 30 years later this is a holy grail for worldwide record collectors and house aficionados, and still not all info is clear. But like all good stories there is a cloud of mystery covering up the details! On the flip side there is one of the best tracks ever produced by Joe Lewis.., Life Immoreal... a track so elegant and beautiful that it hurts!!! Two of the best tracks Chicago House music has to offer in remastered versions taken from the original master tapes on this latest outing of Clone Classic Cuts!!!
