Gene Suite Ensemble - a multi-faceted production that really sees the themes of family and community come to life as they bring their various collaborators out on stage. “SUITE NITES” tells a story from multiple perspectives over 13 tracks. Stories comprised of pieces of the lives of everyone involved. An eclectic approach to composing and producing creates the foundation for the melodies and lyricism spread across the

There is a thread binding London and Johannesburg, of which internationally-acclaimed ensemble The Brother Moves On is part. Founded by artist Nkululeko Mthembu and his brother Siyabonga Mthembu, the collective (‘the most important band in the country’, says the Guardian) continues a lineage of South African protest music. It is 'a vessel of healing', says Mthembu.
