Orchestral FX

So basically, I got bored so I decided to take part in a Crow Hill composing challenge, this one centers around their new Vault Instrument "Orchestral FX" and a random Vaults instrument (I got Shimmer Guitar)... so I incorporated them into this Elfman esque piece.

The track is inspired by classic slasher movies soundtracks such as David Carpenter but also very much inspired by Mark Snow's work on The X-Files and Millennium

I’m currently doing some work experimenting with Spacial effects so I’ve had a crack at mixing this binaurally. It's therefore best ‘enjoyed’ with headphones, possibly in a dark room.

Made with CrowHill Vaults, with FX added. Predominantly Vaults Orchestral FX and Shimmer Guitar. Also CrowHIll Cosmos and other Vaults used for background and accompaniment. “Heartbeat” sound made from Studio Drums. Bass stabs and most lead parts with Shimmer Guitar, long pitched bass notes with Cosmos and chorus synth, light percussion with Studio Drums, brief intro strings with R&D Strings, slight melody layering with Celestatone. Written for the November Crow Hill Composer Challenge.
