The daytime arrangement didn't really give me as much of an 80s vibe as I wanted. I also wanted to make something dark and less cheery for night time. I also wanted to make the track 'build' over time. The beat takes a while to drop, and little bits are added as the song goes. 
The forest still glows at night, but the glow is more intense. It, like most other places on Aloha just feels ... 'off.' Eerie. Tread lightly, Capel!

After like, 4 albums, Capel finally gets her own theme on Return to Aloha. It's a lot sadder than those who've been keeping up with her narrative might expect, but there's a lot about her that hasn't come to light yet.

Lost Girl

Another updated track from the Adventures of Capel's earlier albums. I'll likely be including this one on the Return to Aloha album due out sometime in Spring as a bonus track or something. Includes the leitmotif from Technology (as does most of the AoC series, now that I think about it. <_>; )

So I've been binging a lot of 80s anime with my sister for inspiration on Return to Aloha (my next 80s album!!) It's been working out pretty well so far.  Bubblegum Crisis/Crash/AD Police have all been pretty inspiring, as has Macross!
The result here is a fusion of the sounds from those shows, especially AD Police and Macross for this one.  Big thanks to The Ghost Mall for his informative videos on VSTs! I picked up a fresh one (KORG Polysix!) due to them. Also used this song to test out the Roland SoundcanvasVA. Enjoy!

Advanced Federation Police

I'm working my way through the second Elancia Chronicles book and album. I realized that while the Isle of Qaimusu itself had different themes for each of the time periods Verse remembers, the island's temple did not.  I had two themes for it, both of which I'm still quite happy with, so I went ahead and made a third for the final era, when Verse returns as an adult towards the beginning of the second book.
