VF - The Rest is not Enough

Sunset arrange of 'Wounds' and 'Scars' from two of my earlier HardSpeed albums. Like the other sunset tunes, it's a little JRPG than 80s. It took a while to get the mixing right on this. Still not sure I'm 100% happy with it, but it's good enough!

I hadn't slept in over 72 hours and felt the need to arrange something last night, I didn't realise my tripped af brain could produce anything this coherent! this was transparently mastered to glue the final output together a bit more, and I think this came out pretty great!

The new hardspeed album is finally starting to come together. Got a few more irons in the fire after this one.
A tranquil park area across from the Galactic Royal Lunar Palace, where the king and the queen of the Galaxy live. The area's mostly filled with shops and tourist-y things, and has a great view of the palace.

A decadent trajectory, pursuing an unknown target for so long... you just, well... honestly, you *have* to admire its dedication at this point. I just wonder if it'll reach whatever target it's pursuing, or rather, when?

Fixed up a song from an earlier album. This one always bothered me because the ending really 'hit' for me, while the rest didn't quite. I rectified that, and it'll be on the new album!

Theme of the main protagonist from ECO, Versearrun. Although Verse is no hero, we see the world through Verse's eyes, on a meandering journey lead by one. Verse is a very, very complex person, who functions on a mountain of coping mechanisms, denial, and cold calculation. Verse's moral standards are quite low, and even for  a fox-kin, some of the things she does and says can seem deplorable.

And yet, it seems like all of this might just be an act to protect herself. After all, what use are friends if they just leave or die? A good reason for her excessive greed might be that she knows money won't betray her (unless she's drunk and gambling) like people always have. Best to live sheltered behind great iron walls, than to open your gates for a Trojan horse.

There is a guiding light inside her, urging her to open up, but for years, she's ignored it. For a long time, she's also put her past behind her, but it is finally about to catch up to her, and engulf her. She may be no hero, but this is her story.
