I actually like this one a lot better, too, but as with most tracks on Capel albums, there'll be multiple versions of this one anyway. :V  I'm slowly but surely chipping away at The Bad Friend (my next album) along with the next Capel album (where this song and its partner will live!) I'll be working more on those after I finish up the book-related projects.

This is another track from the next album I'm working on -- Return to Aloha. It's a sequel to a series of other albums I've had going on since around 2014 or so. Fans of that particular series might recognize this tune!

This is another of the "battle" themes from my upcoming album Return to Aloha (one of the Capel albums, a story about a laser-staff wielding space-monster nurse.) I guess you could call it the standard battle theme if all the Capel albums were a game's storyline.
Which is totally not something I've been poking at.

Another song from my upcoming album Return to Aloha (which I'll probably be releasing alongside The Bad Friend, later on this spring.)
This song may be familiar to those familiar with my work. I decided to go for a feeling a bit closer to 80s anime rather than just straight up 80s for this rendition.

Rather tame compared to some of my other works but I thought it was good to try something new o3o Started as a remix of "The Legend" but then it did its own thing lmao. So I decided to write lyrics for this one. Basically, the meaning of the track is Ralsei waiting alone in the dark for those mentioned in the prophecy and he's lonely in the empty Castle Town. With nobody to talk to he turns to the darkness and reaches out to it instead o3o Hopefully you can tell what's going on with the lyrics xD I debated whether or not to release this one since I'm really hard on myself when it comes to originals & I was unsure of the voice I made for Ralsei but I think its ok enough for youtube o3o I might write songs for the other peeps mentioned in the Deltarune prophecy (The Human and The Monster) mainly cause I need an excuse to do another remix of Susie's theme but also cause I think it might be a fun little project xD

[Deltarune Original] Stormheart - Prince from the Dark (Ft. Ralsei's Vocals)

Another track from my upcoming album Return to Aloha. Part of the album is all about redoing tracks from the first album in the series to a style that fits in with the newer albums in the series.  This one was honestly one of the hardest to figure out what to do with! I'm happy with the result, though. Keen listeners or long time listeners might notice the instruments from Night Talk (Nightbridge) and the melody from Lost Girl (Return to Aloha) which was a reprise of Night Talk. The song ends with Lost Girl and Night Talk, before it dissipates into the stars.
For those with a passing interest in the 'lore' behind the albums, this is the love theme for Capel (the derpy medic protag) and her on-again-off-again love interest, Haze. An ex-pilot turned junker. I hope things can work out for them someday.

When I Met You (I wasn't Scared Anymore)

More Return to Aloha stuff! I'd say the album's finally nearing completion. This one, like many of the other tracks on the album is a re-do of a track from the first album. Engineering gets two themes, although this particular theme is more specifically for one engineer rather than the department as a whole, for those who care about the lore of this series of albums.  Anyway, rambling aside, some folks might recognize bits of this from Strut The Mall, which is a partial reprise of it.

Haze Does Work

More HardSpeed music! For those who don't keep up with the (incredibly fractured and name change-y) worldbuilding I've been doing for it over the past several years, the Tsu'ghui are strange cloned monsters that are used by a shady organization to perform assassinations. They have ties to the wars that almost destroyed the galaxy before, but not in the ways you might think. The main character of HardSpeed, Capel, is one of these, or rather, was.
Anyway, they have a big spooky mothership, and this is its theme.

The Tsu'ghui are a strange group of space monsters that perform assassinations all over Earth Federation Space. They're very slippery, and none have ever been captured. It's unclear who is pulling the strings, frustratingly for the AFP. 
Two Tsu'gui units, 03 and 04 are slowly beginning to become self aware. When 04 begins to develop a concept of death and begins to understand love, it may just try to escape its shadowy masters with 03 -- any way it can.

[HARDSPEED] CopPalace 1A (ft. Woofle)

Another HardSpeed song here! This is the battle theme for the Tsu'ghui, a mysterious race of killer clones. It seems like they're being controlled by someone.
The beginning of HardSpeed's narrative follows a squad of Tsu'ghui on a routine mission that turns out to be anything but. I wanted their battle theme to differ heavily from the normal battle theme.

Finally! Got Roy's theme squared away. Out of all the Hardspeed songs, this one's given me the most trouble. It's just upbeat enough, I think! The concept sketches of Roy are by Renz.

Melty Blood: Actress Again - Rhythmical Bustle

New HardSpeed track.
This one has to do with more thoughtful, pensive moments for the characters -- specifically Capel, the main character. Capel barely even understands how people work, and yet she desperately wants to live among them. Every step forward is two steps back. Sometimes, she isn't even sure it's worth it to keep trying.

Mostly done using the Korg Wavestation. I started out trying to decipher the patterns one of the presets had, and ended up reproducing the sounds manually instead. From there, the rest of the song formed. :V

Steady Lights

This will be the first track on my upcoming album, HardSpeed. It serves as the opening text crawl more or less. It has a little more orchestral flair than most of the other HardSpeed music. Part of this is due to the main character of this album, Sydney, being a cello player. (Don't worry, Capel still appears.)
I've been working on something big-ish behind the scenes related to HardSpeed as a whole, and this song was definitely a good step in getting it started. For now, expect a new album out sometime this summer!
