Capel's favorite sort of weather is rain. Despite being a licensed medical doctor and very concerned with keeping things sanitary, she tends to go out into the rain and splish splash in every puddle she can find. "Weird hybrid" describes both the song AND Capel!
I leaned heavier into the JRPG aesthetic than the 80s one for this song. I also left in a couple little mistakes to make it feel more Capel-like, considering her entire life is a mistake.

Capel Puddle Splasher

'nother track of the upcoming 4th Elancia Chronicles album. This song focuses on the village of Kriothaath, where Fiend grew up.  He and what was left of his family found refuge in Kriothaath years ago, after their own village was raided and destroyed by the Elian church. His grandmother is the chieftan these days, but the place has fallen on hard times.

This track will be the intro track from the upcoming 4th Elancia album. I wanted to strike a balance between the upbeat nature of "To Get By" from the first album, and "Under the Moons and the Rain" from the third album. 
All that's really left for me to do on this is place a few more melodies in and finish the outro. I'm not happy with any of the melodies or outros I've come up with yet, so here's all there is so far. Enjoy!

Into the Frontier [WIP]

Intro track for my upcoming album HardSpeed: Love is Never Over. It serves as an OP of sorts. I'm still unhappy with how the sax sounds in some parts, so I'm likely to screw with that before release. Enjoy!

Lost innocence/in a sense

...well, not -only- piano, but mostly. 
This is another song from that project I'm always blabbing about/posting from. It is a leitmotif focused around loss, and the uncontrollable feelings related to it. Since that is a very important theme in the story of that project, this theme crops up in many different places.

The focus of this particular theme is a huge festival that takes place every year before a massive storm. Were it not for this incredibly timeliness (really, it's rather precise in its arrival) country this festival takes place in would be very arid.  Anyway, all that aside, as the song goes on, more things join in, and pretty soon... well, you'll see.

So a long time ago https://soundcloud.com/suddensharpintakeofbreath-1 made this amazing tune; http://www.furaffinity.net/view/5150913/ which absolutely blew my mind. I asked him if I could have a crack at arranging it, and he let me! This was the result. :D 

I think this was done in 2011 or 2012, so it has a lot of my older sounds in it, but I think it holds up pretty well -- mostly thanks to how awesome the source material is!! :D Go check out Mr. Gasp's stuff!

Last sci-fi track for today!

The Terraforming plant is the hub of the colony, and the reason for its existence. Someday, Aloha will turn green and blue all over, although really, the plant has a tendency to Destablilize and become very worrisome. The derpy medic's brave engineering room mate, and a robot who takes everything literally both tend to the plant day and night, keeping it from causing severe storms, or worse.
For the medic, the building is big, scary, and noisy, and she honestly feels nervous around it. She meets the engineer here every day after work.

NH Terraforming Plant

It's been a year since I did that half-assed DNB remix when I attempted to use FL for a song for the first time.
I've picked up a guitar since and I feel I know a bit more about music now.

That being said, AMALGAM. I've literally BEEN ADDICTED to this fucking song for the past year and this is probably my 8th attempt or so at doing this god forsaken song.
I love it but goddamn it does not get enough justice. I can count the number of decent covers on a single hand.
