Okay there must be some limit to how much more intense it can get...

I like these calmer moments scattered throughout. It kind of adds variety, and time to breathe after getting my HP nearly depleted. Know where I can find some monomate or pixelated hearts close by? This boss is Killin me! 

Hearing one of my - no joke - all time favorite jams go through such a radical overhaul is admittedly an event of mixed emotions.  The 2011 version is still in regular rotation on my list of hardcore jams, and it's killer shreddage is the sort of thing I dream of ever making a guitar come close to sounding like in my delightful world of completely fake soundfonts and synths.  That said, hearing that aspect of it toned down a little doesn't leave me banging my head like I'm not the biggest nerd of all time, but I'm left unable to really complain; the leitmotifs are worked in wonderfully, the changes as a whole breathe new life into the track and lend it more emotional depth than just jamming the hell out, and like a lot of your recent changes it has that complete-track, arranged cinematic feel to it that I'm really digging.  I'm probably still going to clutch to the 2011 "raiding Eggman's Dreamcast base" rendition like a stubborn old man, but this rendition is a worthy evolution.

Ah, the final 'level' of ECO: Season 1. Only a few minor things left to do before the album is ready to go.
