A little something from EC I've been working on for a while now. This is one of the villages in Kerlynzia, where the second season/book of EC takes place. It's the home country of two of the main characters, Karina and Verse. I tried to go outside of my normal comfort zone for this one, with mixed results.

Back during the original run of Planet Aloha (before I revamped everything in Return, even!) I never got around to making a song for the science/botany department. I didn't for the Military, either, which I've since rectified. Now science finally has its own song 5 years later! anyway, I'd first set out to make Qeshi his own theme for the project, but I accidentally made this instead. It ended up working out well.

I wanted to go for a much more authentic Citypop sound. I think I'm getting there... Citypop is my happy place. No matter what, it's a genre that keeps me going, so I had to give it a shot.

So a couple of 4 hour competitions later the winners of those were compiled into an album of epic proportions.
Well...none of my tracks were on a level to compete against the skill that was delivered, but a couple made it onto it anyway. No bribes involved, I swear.
