Chill Land

This album has been a big part of my life, and will always continue to be. Let's slow the tempo down here for a bit... This isn't quite like my other uploads, but it represents a type of music I often make.
This is another piece from my personal project, focusing on a very important character, the emotions surrounding her, and the dreamlike world she inhabits. 

Also, I <3 Yasunori Mitsuda, if you can't tell.

Dream Sea - Lyrikos' theme

...well, not -only- piano, but mostly. 
This is another song from that project I'm always blabbing about/posting from. It is a leitmotif focused around loss, and the uncontrollable feelings related to it. Since that is a very important theme in the story of that project, this theme crops up in many different places. 

Whiteout [Piano Arrange]

An arrangement of the song also plays during the credits sequences for the third season, although I went for a much different feeling to better exemplify what is going on during the third season of the story. It ended up being my favorite arrangement of Whiteout...er.. Blackout. Whatever. Enjoy!

Blackout [Season 3 arrange]

I had a version of this song uploaded before, but I really wasn't happy with the quality of it, especially since it's one of the cornerstones (seriously, it's referenced in like, 8 different songs) of the personal project that 99% of my music on here is devoted to. I touched up the quality a bit, and changed a few things that were bothering me.

Anyway, this song serves as the credits theme for the final 'season' of my project, and begins playing during the last scene of every 'episode', then rolls on into the credits. It doubles as the theme of a very important character.

Transformation[1]x

This is the counterpart song to the Celestion piece. Dascillia is a much more technologically advanced country directly to the north of Celestion. Dascillia has railroads, guns, steam power, and gas lanterns (most of which are only just barely catching on in Celestion.)  
Currently, Dascillia has cast off its ties with the church of the Goddess Elia, and taken up worship of a person (or perhaps an idea) known as the God of Fate. This, of course, makes the church of Elia a tidbit displeased, and soon enough, they've dispatched their private Holy Army to put a stop to all this 'demon worship.'  In the end, Celestion, having little seperation of church and state, gets sucked into what becomes a war, and the player's group, who really just kind of wants to get the heck out of Celestion, ends up caught up in the conflict.

Symphony of Blistered Skies [Dascillia Field]

From the first 'season' of my project.

Throughout the course of the first season, the countries of Dascillia and Celestion are at war. One country is supported by the army of the church of the Goddess, Elia. The other has received a few garrisons of men from the Aegiys Guard, a highly trained religious group that worships many Gods.
These two groups wage war via Celestion and Dascillia, in one of the first direct conflicts between the two religions in Elancian history.
Unfortunately for both countries, they are now tearing each other apart for reasons far bigger than either of them, and the ones who pay the heftiest price are those caught in the middle.
The player group rather unfortunately runs head-long into this conflict on an un-related task, and their destinies are forever altered. 

This song carries the leitmotif from the first season, "Blistered Skies" which can be heard in all 3 field maps for season 1, and the season 1 ending. :D

War Torn Fields

I've actually been making a ton of music for this project lately, I've just been afraid to post it too fast. >~>; I'm also sitting on about 200 songs I've already written for it, but I digress.

Depending on the time of day when the party reaches the Dascillia side, either this, or the night version plays.
Mitala isn't a very big town, and mostly thrives on the mines nearby that travel under the river separating the two countries.   
Before the war, these mines were caught up in court, due to the fact that it couldn't be determined where exactly they were, in relation to the border, but now that the war has started, it looks like that is no longer a worry.
It isn't a particularly large town, but a pleasant one, nonetheless. War hasn't yet touched it.

Prairie Life [DAY]

This is a scene song from my personal project, Elancia Chronicles.

This plays during scenes of regret -- especially immediately after mistakes are made, and the consequences have played out.  These scenes are often dialogue-heavy, as characters generally don't just 'move on' in this story. It takes them a long time to process what they've seen, internalize it, and try to sort out exactly what they think and feel as a result.

Honestly, I'm moooostly happy with it, but there's a couple parts I will be going back to iron out later (for instance, there's one place where I completely screwed up while recording the guitar track. xD)

What I Have Done

Full soundtrack for the Playstation game "Spongebob Squarepants : Supersponge". (c) 2001 THQ.    The CD drive was used for streaming speech so the music is all sequenced and stored in the internal sound ram.

The game plays the soundtrack slightly differently to the original files which I created.  This OST consists of the original files rather than recordings from the game, it also includes 5 unused tracks and stings.

Uploaded as reference for my commercial sound work.

25 Industrial Fields Oil Rig

Unsurprisingly, this is another tune from Elancia Chronicles. This tune is a theme for a group of traveling performers who -totally don't use magic- in their acts. Nope, none at all. Totally all sleight of hand and technical tricks. It's totally not a way to hide from the Church of Elia who says magic is evil!

This large traveling troupe of colorful performers travels all around the  world, and the main characters of the story run across them several times. One of them may even eventually end up traveling along with the protagonists.

Lyrikos [Piano-ish]

Another piece from ECO. This is a shorter version of a very important song that is heard during the final episodes of the first season. That version is coming soon! :D  This is actually rather similar to Snowfields, which I composed for Freedom Planet's soundtrack, now that I think about it...

Ruse - Shortwave

This is the theme for one of the characters from ECO, Cecelia. I hope to have the book and album for season 1 both complete soon... ANYWAY, more about Cecelia...
Cecelia Fey Burnelo is a very strange girl. Living in a cabin outside of Celestion's capital, Kalandla, she spends most of her time with her head buried in a book, or practicing her magic. As magic is outlawed by all countries observing Elianism, she has to keep her magic useage to herself, which is a bit of a problem. Cecelia loves talking about magic, and her religion's version of the history of the world. As a matter of fact, it's about the only thing that can hold her attention.
She talks loudly, has personal space issues, doesn't like being touched, often forgets to bathe, and has worn the same coat for literally *years*. She has better relationships with her books (she makes sure to read one fiction, and one non-fiction book per day, uneven numbers upset her) than she does with actual people. In fact, people in general are largely a mystery to her. That said, she *does* want friends, she just doesn't ever seem to be able to get or keep any.

Cecelia's Theme - Pleasant and Cantankerous

Another character theme from ECO that I forgot to upload. I'm kind of glad I remembered, because I really enjoy her storyline. 
Anyway, here's a little more information on her; 

The daughter of a high-ranking Kerlynzian Imperial Knight who is cousin to the Emperor, and a high-ranking Elian church official, Karina was always torn between two worlds when her family lived in Kerlynzia.

Despite an early life focused around fashion design, Karina ultimately decided to train in combat, instead.

She was trained as an Imperial Knight from an early age. She excelled in the areas of stealth, and close-quarters combat. She could move quite well in darkness, and even manage to go undetected during the day. Her future as an Imperial Knight looked bright, but being as her mother’s job demanded she move over-seas, Karina and her parents moved to Celestion. [Citation needed]
In Celestion, Karina’s mother worked with missionaries, setting up churches in Lurafelle, which was still reeling from the religious uprising which at that time, had only been a handful of years ago. Karina trained with the Celestionese army, but did not feel as welcome or as enthused she had back home. Despite her almost disturbing love for weaponry and her vast knowledge on all types of weapons throughout history, she felt very alone in Celestion until she met a young boy in training named Basil.

Before meeting Basil, Karina was withdrawn and quiet, and often cried, despite being haughty. After meeting Basil, she became more sure of herself, and even haughtier. Very patriotic for her home-country of Kerlynzia, she never chose to dress like a Celestionese person might, for the most part, although she does have an uncanny love for pretty clothing, too.

Info from the original upload: The focus of this particular one is a logging town in the game's world, which is located along a river. Although most of the city is still forested in, a lot of the surrounding area has been logged, replanted, and logged again for hundreds of years. The industry in this town is very old, and a lot of the mills in town are as old as the oldest trees within the town.
There's a lot of machines here, working day and night, alongside their living counterparts, and lots of conveyor belts in the trees.  (So basically Wood Zone >_>; )
The town (Zandvoort, by name) isn't that far from the town of Zolder, whose song you can find here: Leila-wilson-woofle – Deep-forest Both were once the lands of the fox-tribes, but now are a bit more international.

As I work back through season 1 buffing out blemishes and scrubbing away grime, I came to realize that I needed to remember what I was working on and why.

You're Still My Sister

More stuff from my upcoming 80s album NightBridge. This is the theme for Capel's home on Nightbridge. She decorates the place like a party is always going on, and almost all of it is taken up by an indoor pool (in which she also usually sleeps.)
...She never has any guests. The name comes from her trying to say "Residential District" and utterly failing. :V
