Once again, I have teamed up with the brilliant HamBa (Hamilton Bailie from the UK)who's recitations are always so expressive. Once again, we've worked on a WB Yeats poem. They are fine just on their own, but to lend a bit more drama to the text, I've added piano & orchestral instruments & also some sound effects, to heighten the tension in places.

"New York Underground" is my collaboration piece with Leithal Music. It is our sound interpretation of a trip from home to work to the university and from there back home using the NYC subway system. This piece was a mix and an editing of a collection of sounds recorded during a year. "New York Underground" was first released in 2015, under the label Haze Netlabel, and it has been published, this summer of 2018, in a selection of stories about mass transit underground experiences. The anthology, Los Topos Mecánicos, Ed. The music of differences, a mixed bag of tunes, sounding like a compilation album with no central thread just the knots of sound patterned in a coherent way, sometimes working out. Sometimes sketches of ideas which in themselves are legitimate and complete. Eclectic or random? As the drum machine of eternity reaches tentatively towards one of many infinities, a pattern will emerge.
Once and only once described as the bastard offspring of Jean Michel Jarre and Aphex Twin ........................Anyone want to adopt?
