Welcome to my submission for the Liquicity Festival 2023 DJ contest. 

I have tried to specifically tailor this set to the Liquicity crowd. As you might know, many Liquicitizens are die-hard Drum & Bass lovers that listen to Drum & Bass on a daily basis, probably having heard even the most recent releases already 100s of times. They also like to "sing along" to all the bangers even when there are no vocals ("tu tu du du du tu tu" ;)). Therefore, in this set:
- A spacey intro with the old school Liquicity yearmix vocals
- Many high energy bangers for the crowd to dance and "sing along" to 
- Minimizing the time when a single isolated track is playing to keep everything fresh and interesting for even the most hard core Drum & Bass lover 

Creating this set has been a real challenge, pushing my DJ skills to the absolute limit fitting 45 tracks in 30 minutes and sometimes even having 4 tracks playing at the same time. Selecting and matching this many tracks that go well together in such a short set, finding the best possible EQ and Volume settings for all tracks and let's not forget learning all transitions/mixes and recording the whole thing, took countless of hours. Sometimes I felt like I needed more than 2 hands. But in the end I am very happy with the result and I hope you like it too. 

Nothing is ever perfect, and as a DJ I am constantly looking for feedback on my mixes to keep improving on myself. 
So:
- if you don't like some part on the mix: tell me. 
- if you do like it: tell another! 

All tracks are played and recorded on my 4-deck controller (DDJ-FLX6-GT) using Rekordbox 6.

Fifth Mix in this series of Dancefloor Drum & Bass Mixes. In my personal opinion my best Mix in 2023 (I probably won't be able to finish another mix this year but will be back in 2024!). Mixing the best Dancefloor Drum and Bass songs together with a few jump up tracks. This mix contains many double and triple DNB songs mixed together at the same time. Trying to keep the energy high with short breaks every 3-4min. Great mix for party, gaming or workouts.
