Silkos has an impressive MC career spanning over two decades, during which he has embraced and explored a wide range of music genres such as Jungle/D&B, UK Garage, House and UK Funky. He has consistently adapted to the ever-changing trends in music.

Throughout his MC journey, he has had the honor of gracing the microphone at prominent underground pirate and legal radio stations in London and Essex. These include Flava FM, Blaze FM and Touch FM, as well as internet-based stations like ukflow.tv and Empire London. Silkos has showcased his talent in numerous clubs and music venues across the UK, collaborating with various promoters and participating in diverse events. Silkos has been mixing for the past couple of years and goes by the name Dj HyperStorm.

My first introduction to underground dance music was back in 1995. I bought and handed around hardcore tape packs (slamming vinyl, helta skelter etc.) and come the end of 1996 I got myself a set of Sound Lab DLP1 belt drive turntables. Uk Garage was the rage and I started playing parties, and local bars and got a few slots on Various underground FM radio stations around Essex. Come early 201 I didn't like the cheesy way Garage was going so I stepped down from playing it and started buying house music fully, whilst listening to trance and some breaks in the background 2003 and the Hed Kandi disco/funky house scene was buzzing so naturally I jumped on board. A friend from my home town got a set as an MC on an internet radio station called UK Flow and needed a DJ. So, me and 3 other guys hopped in his tiny cramped Peugeot 206 and made the trip to London. This was my first time on Internet Radio and was the start of my internet DJing venture!

Mes alias, Diet et G.O.D (Good Old Days) sont mes deux facettes musicales, l'un pour ce qui est actuels et l'autres pour ce qui est "oldSchool". Vous l'avez compris, je fais (presque) de tout!

Born in 1980, I fell in love with the rave culture in the mid-90s. The legendary "Les Métissages" show on the famous swiss radio Couleur3 was a big part of it! In 1998, my encounter with an "Ecler SMAC 32" and two "Technics SL 1210 MK2" anchored mixing as a passion. My Soundcloud is a reflection of the styles I love! My aliases, Diet and G.O.D (Good Old Days) are my musical facets, one for the actual styles and the other for the "oldSchool" styles. As you can see, I do (almost) everything!
