Wow! Did not know this could be played in the strings! Impressive!!

This piece is difficult enough as it is on piano; but the sheer skill that it must take to play this on a violin must be absolutely phenomenal beyond belief. A piece that truly exceeds perfection.

This is an arrangement for mandolin quartet by Andy Boden of the second movement -- the Rondeau or Rondo -- of Purcell's Abdelazer Suite.  This is the same tune also used as the main theme in Benjamin Britten's "The Young Person's Guide to the Orchestra".
