"We have been talking about a collabo with local brand Pasteelo for almost a year. A brand that has a different style perception and leisure approach. If you dig through the Pasteelo mixtape archives on Soundcloud you'll find a who's who of the Copenhagen digging and beatmaker community. The mixes seems to be built around dedication, good vibes and musical friendships. 

This mixtape we ended up recording live on 18.8.18 at a party in the Pasteelo store. Having gone through several ideas and themes for mixes, we ended up in a true Copenhagen dogma fashion. A part from the summer theme, all records had to be with headshot cover art. So out of a stack of 30 epic albums about half went into this mix and the following photo shoot.
Thanks to the whole Pasteelo crew and friends to help out to document this crazy idea.
The music ties together the Pasteelo love for jazz flavour with a range of Brazilian artists and top composers. You'll find spectacular and odd funk grooves from Carlos Dafé and Paulo Diniz together with saturated soul and sunshine samba vibes from Jorge Ben, Beto Scala, Bebeto and Tim Maia. Our fave track in the mix is Clara Nunes stunning bossa performance on "Sabiá" from her self titled and overlooked 1971 album. Enjoy!"
