Yet more talent emerging from 'God's Own Country' is Red Bull Music Academy graduate Katherine Anderson AKA k2k. 

Not hanging around post-graduation, Katherine has been releasing tunes, co-producing NZ dance broadcast ‘Scenery: New Zealand’ and throwing parties with Auckland collective, Inky Waves.

Katherine's partiality for a dusty house track and late night boogie jams is demonstrated both through her Deejay sets and productions. 'We Down For' is the first taste from her debut EP Sugar, due to drop in January on fast emerging NZ house and techno label MARGINS.

This track is carried through lug-holes and into your bonce via surging cosmic chords, a warm bass line, dusty Brandy vocals and smooth percussion. A real warmer for a frosty day.

Loure is 22 year old, Melbourne based producer Thomas Guida. Deriving influence from a vast range of musical outfits, he delivers a refreshing take on his interpretation of Deep House. With the qualities of heavy flowing beats accompanied by smooth melodies and intricate brass, Loure takes inspiration from the forever progressive Melbourne music scene, delivering a unique mix of remarkably original and touching music. "Westside Movements" was written, produced and recorded on the inner skirts of Melbourne’s western suburbs. Gaining heavy influence from ongoing cultural movements currently gracing the streets of Footscray, the surrounding abandoned warehouses and the banks of the Maribyrnong River, this record is an Ode to the West and the joy, unity, and enlightenment it has and continues to provide to myself and all of those who choose to embrace its hidden beauties. “No Rave”, a rebellion-track led by drunken synthesizers by Mootron, oats between bending arps, sharp leads and echoverb nukes land on a big fat drum kick and bright laser shots hi-hats - no rave! “Detroit”, by the young producer BRZLN Air, contemplates an ode to the whole history on eletronic music that made the american city be known for what it is: drums, synths and love, a pure obssession. Cacos brings to life his exquisite dream-lover “Sarah”, a dark & mystic techno combined whith elements of obscure chant rhythms - it’s Sarah. San Y Mayo closes the 4-song compilation marching from the sea into the jungle - you might know what to expect but it doesn’t mean it’s there.
