Mon amour pour la musique électronique commence au début des années 90 avec l’arrivée de l’Acid House New Beat et puis la Trance et la Techno.
J’ai commence à sortir en club en Belgique et à découvrir de grands clubs. Pour en citer quelques uns, Boccacio at the villa et en suite Cherry moon, La Rocca, Fuse..
Je me suis pris d’admiration pour ces DJs qui faisaient danser des milliers de gens toute la soirée jusqu’au petit matin, puis je suis parti pour Londres en Janvier 96.
J’ai alors découvert un nouveau son, une nouvelle musique, une nouvelle culture.
Je me suis mis à mixer avec quelques amis tout les week-ends, et j’ai fait mes premiers débuts dans des bars à Londres, et ma première résidence à Pademonium une fois par mois.
J ai ensuite rejoint l’organisation 7 sins, managée par DJ Mish Mash/ Le baron du Mish mash( qui est ensuite devenu mon meilleur ami), et puis d’autres clubs underground, comme The 414, The mass ,The Fridge ,The George IV, et Imperial Garden.
Pour moi DJ n’est pas un métier, c’est une passion, une joie, un amour, un plaisir de faire danser la foule jusqu’au petit matin.
Cette passion est gravée en moi, comme un tatouage sur la peau, à tout jamais.

Hello, all. My name is DJ Shnootz (real name Matt), and my obsession with acid techno and acid trance began in late 1996. Twenty-eight years later, I am still obsessed with acid techno and acid trance.

Of course, I also mix hardcore/gabber, acid core, psybient, Goa/psy, hard trance, UK hard house/NRG, ragga tek, and even some melodic trance every now and then. In fact, in the last few years (since mid 2015 or so, and especially since late 2017), I've gravitated quite significantly toward hardcore/gabber (particularly "early hardcore" with healthy doses of ACID). To be clear, I still mix acid techno, acid trance, and the other styles I mentioned above; but fair to say, gabber has become one of my main pursuits in the last few years, so hardcore heads should expect many more mixes of thunderous gabber going forward.

In any case, I’ve also long been a fan of hardcore punk rock (e.g., Propagandhi, [UK] Subhumans, Dead Kennedys, Bad Religion, etc.), hip-hop (Del the Funkee Homosapien, Jurassic-5, Sage Francis, early Wu, etc.), reggae/dancehall/dub (General Levy, Daddy Freddy, Pato Banton, Steel Pulse, Bob, etc.), classical music (Beethoven, Dvorak, Khachaturian, Rossini, Verdi, etc.), and many other types of "normal" music, as well.

In terms of my work as a DJ, I have always been a vinyl guy (the only exception being my psybient sets, as most psybient is released digital-only), though to be clear, I have absolutely no problem with digital DJs and digital-only tracks; I just stick to what I know, that's all. Anyway, I started playing parties in southern California in late '99, and over the next few years, I played a few dozen events for Something Fresh, Neosapiens, Believe, Molecule, and a handful of other production companies I can't remember. I took a semi-hiatus between maybe 2005 and early 2009 (and I still mixed the occasional set during those years) but then got back into it more earnestly and developed a modest but wonderfully demented online following, particularly overseas. Since early 2015, I've also begun to play a handful of events again, so we'll see what the future holds.

My name is Matthieu aka Le Mish Mash or Revolution Matt. I am a 30 years old musician and sound designer. I currently play for Misztifiedmind record and Sub System Audio

I chose those labels because of their eclectic views on electronic music. I specialise in Deep morning/day time psychedelic and in progressive acid techno house.

My style is mind teasing and crowd pleasing, deep and energetic.
I could also call my mixing style as active… no hand in the air...look at me....I'm a DJ…. non-sense.

In 2004 I got recruited to play for Free-Spirit. A Psychedelic and progressif record Label from whom I played for a 4 of years.There, I was helping out for the promotion of Oversoul and Implosion parties.

In the last decade, I played in some of the biggest underground parties like Twisted and Underground, Venom, Psychedelic Circle, Synergy, psy-invasion...........
I also played at numerous gigs in some of London biggest clubs ..... Mass, Imperial Garden, SE1, the Fridge, Scala, Crash, 414 and many more. I also played along side some of the biggest artists in the scene like X-Dream, Bizarre Contact, Aphid Moon, Tron, Cosmosis, Polaris, Ultra Voice and many more.

In 2002 I won the cyberdog Dj competition in Camden. As a result, I got a residency at the shop in the market for a couple years. Through this, I also got offered to host a 2hours weekly internet radio on London live and direct. 

With a passion for sound brewed from the young age by my father. He played me all sorts of music, mostly classically orientated throughout my childhood and teen years.

I suppose it was is way of teaching me music as there was no way for me to go to school and learn the notes on a piece of paper. At the tender age of 19... Young, fresh and innocent, I had the brilliant idea of living France for London and like for many people, it changed my life. 

After a year in London my neighbours (bless them) brought me to the famous and sadly missed Strawberry Sunday club. This was the revelation I was subconsciously waiting for. WOW a club were everyone's is smiling, peaceful, happy... “Finally, the real London”.
