Gang of Ducks is a multidisciplinary platform
operating through record releases, events, sound installations, video and editorial projects.

The study of primitive languages, ritual practices and the definition of club and urban culture, has pushed the collective towards questioning the relationship between nature and digital as well as technological development, touching various kinds of sounds.
From rougher and nebulous ones to club-oriented all the way to more dilated, hypnotic, emotional and meditative ones.

At the same time the label is developing a few editorial projects. Sn50 (Nico Vascellari, Evol, Ruben Patiño, Anna Homler) is a zine format dealing with themes developed by artists dwelling in the music realm. Chronicles is a sort of ‘diary’ through which friends and selected artists can develop one specific issue.

Supporting the label activity, Gang of Ducks participates in festivals and plays in clubs with showcases or as GOD SoundSystem. The latter sees the label founders as djs and offers sets in line with the collective’s vision, sometimes playing own productions and supporting the experience with visuals.

Sound artist and musician who has worked within soundscape and sound-ecology boundaries since 2009/10. He immerses himself in the phenomenon of magnetism with unrestrained curiosity and regularly wrestles surprising insights out of it. In our current era of hyperspecialization, he can truly be called a universal scholar, his qualifications range from photography and visual arts to a PhD in food technology all the way to a wide range of professional experience. All this has sharpened his analytical view, which he has focussed for some time now on the potential of sound. His research is related to the study of resonant surfaces in the field, degradation processes and the limit/interferences of each device used to record or reproduce sound.

In 2016, with Enrico Malatesta and Glauco Salvo, he founded MU, an independent association devoted to sound experiences, acting as a listening platform to develop and bring fresh and smart workshops, listening sessions, gigs and conferences. In 2022, he joined MAGMA, developing the Elementi series and other events in his area.
In 2023 with Carolina Martines, he founded Manticora Editions, an ongoing project which is a mixtape label and a shell of different sound proposals in progress, created together or individually by the two artists.

He released from several labels like Kohlhaas, Dinzu Artefacts, Sucata Tapes/Discrepant, Archive Officielle, Ftarri, Consumer Waste, Crónica and others.
From 2014 he played in venues like Cafe OTO, Macao, Standards, Confine Aperto, Spectrum, Cafe Kino, Cave 12, Spettro, Tempo Reale, MART, OOR, Klappfon, Area Sismica, Teatro Fondamenta Nuove, KNOT Gallery, and festivals like Storüng, Ravenna Festival, NODE, Transmissions, Path, Detritus Festival, Santarcangelo Festival, La Digestion, A L’Arme!, Angelica, Lost Festival.

Artist in Residence at: Hotel Pupik (Austria, 2015), Khora /Syros Film Festival (Greece, 2015), Forte Marghera /Venice (Italy, 2015), Apache4 /Milan (Italy, 2017), Tempo Reale /Florence (Italy, 2018), GMEA /Albi (France, 2019), Hangar /Barcelona (Spain, 2020), Q-O2 /Bruxelles (Belgium, 2021), EMS /Stockholm (Sweden, 2022), Marosi /Stromboli (Italy, 2022), CAMP/Aulus-les-Bains (France, 2023).
