Late Patterns - The Closing Time

I had the privilege of playing a closing set on the birthday of our dear friend “Marije” in Studio 27 in Amsterdam. I was originally going to play from 2:30 AM to 4:00 AM but that turned into 6:00 AM. I had prepared a melodic house set of about 1 hour and then I would take a step back and play progressive house for half an hour. However, this turned out to be 3.5 hours, including two hours of free wheeling. Maybe a little messy but at that moment it was perfect.

Ik had het voorrecht om een afsluit set te draaien op de verjaardag van onze lieve vriendin “Marije” in Studio 27 te Amsterdam. Ik zou oorspronkelijk draaien van 02:30 tot 04:00 maar dat werd 06:00. Ik had een melodic house setje voorbereid van ongeveer 1 uur en zou daarna een stapje terug gaan en een half uurtje progressieve house draaien. Dit werden echter 3.5 uur waarvan twee uur lekker free wheelen. Misschien een beetje rommelig maar op dat moment was het perfect.
