This song is dedicated to my step-dad who passed away in July 2022. I am from the Uk and he lives and worked in America as an American citizen for most of his life. 
I was honoured to be asked to sing at my mum & step dads wedding (a kelly clarkson cover) which brought him to tears so I felt it was only right to dedicate this very fitting cover to my step Dad. 
Rest in peace Steve - never forgotten 💔

Fields of Gold:
This cover will be my very first and it is dedicated to my dear Grandad who sadly passed away in December 2014. He was a singer his whole life and he always supported me and encouraged me to sing from a very young age at family gatherings, special occasions and Christmas.
This cover of Eva Cassidy's Fields of gold has genuine emotional attachments for me as I sang it as a tribute at my Grandad's funeral. 
Following the positive feedback i received at the funeral i have decided to pursue a lifelong dream of recording some covers of songs that inspire me or that mean something to me personally, despite lacking confidence, self belief and the know-how to do it
I am musically illiterate, I could not tell you what notes I am singing, I purely sing by sound.

I am a 39 year old from Suffolk, born in Cambridge and i work full time as a mortgage broker.
I have always had a love of all music, but in particular i have been inspired since a very young age by Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston, Eva Cassidy, Adele, Birdie and many many more!

I rarely perform live other than I used to sing in a modern choir, at my grandfathers funeral, my mum & step dads wedding and a charity Memorial Day but hope to change this by gradually building confidence, self belief and improving my techniques. 

My goal is to sing!!!... this is what i enjoy doing most, i would love to perform live, and would also really love to work with a producer to produce new music of our own, but most of all i would love nothing more than to be good enough and confident enough to feature on one of Jake Aldridge's upcoming tracks.

I will be submitting more covers one by one in the coming months, including a cover of 'Hallelujah' in the style of Alexandra Burke, the possibility of an Adele cover, perhaps some Emeli Sande too and lots more I hope!!.....
