Recording of my (first ever!) hybrid set from KICK party at DTM 26/04/2024. Deep and hypnotic techno plus drum machine impro. Beatmatched manually, and honestly very proud how clean this set is. Beatmatching two tracks and drum machine on top of them was a lovely challenge. 

Thank you for the invite @miia-magia and @jussieskelinen, the lovely peeps behind KICK, this was a truly a treat of a gig for me and was amazing to get to focus on just deep dubby techno with some 909 improvisation.

Jussi E is best known for founding Homotekno, the early 2010s underground party that brought techno back to Helsinki’s queer scene. Since then, he has devoted a lot of his time and energy to creating and supporting alternative spaces for queers and techno freaks. Musically, he particularly enjoys tracks with influences from dub techno and the sound of Detroit.
