His love for music grew as his parents pushed him into being an artist and performer at a young age. Lem was inspired growing up by Partynextdoor and is continuing to be inspired by him as well as Miguel, The Weeknd , and Roy Woods. He describes his genre of music to be Alternative R&b and smooth.
