A nationally known Christian music artist, speaker, and songwriter, Joanna Beasley was born and raised in Niles, Michigan. After releasing her first album, “My World” in 2005 at the age of 19, a mere three years after becoming a semi-finalist on American Idol, a world of opportunity opened up.  Joanna released her second album, “Patiently Waiting”, in 2009. Different from the fun, pop/rock feel of “My World”, her sophomore album was borne of searching and seeking the Lord, overcoming fear and confusion – while remaining upbeat, it’s more open-hearted. Joanna married Kerry Beasley that same year, and they maintain a home in both South Bend, IN and in Nashville, TN.  
Joanna was the host of Steelroots Top Ten Countdown, a Christian music video program, and has been seen on The Harvest Show, StudioB, and 100 Huntly Street. She is the first artist representative for the Global Pastor Outreach, a subsidiary of the Oasis Network For Churches and is the Director of Worship for the Oasis Network, coordinating worship resources and teams for churches, events and conferences. Joanna has performed at ‘Celebrate Freedom’, the largest Christian music festival in the world, and has shared the stage with Chris Tomlin, Mercy Me, Natalie Grant, Michael W. Smith and countless others.  She has also performed at Tim Storey’s ‘The Study’, a Hollywood-based bible study for entertainment personalities held at the infamous East West Studios. She has written songs with Chris McClarney (“Your Love Never Fails”), Krissy Norhdoff (Dove Award winner for worship song of the year), and Dustin Burnett (Newsboys, Rhett Walker Band), and works closely with her producer, Stephen Leiweke (Jason Castro, Kari Jobe), to share her heart for the message of Grace.
God’s unconditional love is the central focus of Joanna’s new album, “Loud Love”, due for release in Spring 2013. About it, Joanna says, “Worship music is generally geared toward Christian people, but everyone can be infected, encouraged, and empowered by what we’re saying with this album. We have a huge heart for the church, but also for reaching people who wouldn’t typically go to church, and just loving them and ministering to them where they’re at, sharing the message with them in a new light. We can always come to Him no matter what we’ve done.  He loves us regardless of our flaws and failures, and that’s the biggest change in this album, lyrically. We’ve realized how true God’s heart is for us and we want to communicate that His love is absolutely unfailing. We’re singing back to God what He already says about Himself and about us. His love is bold, true, loud, unconditional, and constantly pursuing you wherever you go!”
