It stands for Gregor Tresher Originals and the emphasis is on the word original as he continues to carve his own unique furrow in a brand new way. Investing everything hes achieved and explored across some of the greatest labels in techno from Drumcode to Cocoon, Music Man to Ovum, Moon Harbour to Bedrock, plus 60 releases on his own Break New Soil imprint, its time to freshen things up once again. Its time to get acquainted with GTO And it starts with another superb collaboration with long time friend and collaborator Petar Dundov. 

Stellarius and Anthropogenic show Gregor and Petar at their most energetic, forward-thinking and enthused. The former is a pacey drive into the unknown with layered synths weaving in and out of perspective to hypnotic effect while the latter shows a darker side to the duo as harmonic bass textures rumble with a rich loin-girding sinister feel and a carnal funk that springs off the off-beat hi-hats. Gregor explains the inspiration behind both compositions "Stellarius to me, is the biggest and most powerful track to emerge from our recent studio sessions. From the day we made it, I knew I wanted to save it for something very special. Well, I guess the occasion is here." 

"Anthropogenic causes mayhem everywhere I play it. I would say its inspired by the music of so many young and fresh producers making their way to the big stages now with a sound that hints a time when producing techno wasnt about functionality but more about a certain vibe of creating something new and exciting."

Young and talented Techno act Diaz &amp; Parree out of Cologne deliver their debut Frequenza release Act Out Sexually, including Patrick Kunkel &amp; Nihil Young, Carlo Ruetz remixes. 

"Check out the hot and lovely vocals on 'Act out Sexually'. Love the nasty techno mixed along the sensual sexy voice. The groove is definitely one to keep the dancefloor hot; keep it going along w/the trippy acid synth twists rising and rising. Love the pads swiftly coming in for the short drop - nicely done. Back on the beat w/the synths in the background keeping you in suspense with a nice intro from the voice and booming hi hat! 
cool use of that fumbling kick on the intros of both originals - 'Perverse Thoughts' is just that.... this is like a mini-techno perverse symphony; very well developed arrangements and production wise everything seems to be in place. Twisted for sure. 

Patrick Kunkel &amp; Nihil Young remix taking on a more sexy-groovy version easily digestible dance version. Still a very powerful interpretation maintaining the vocals present but not in your face; the thick synths is a nice plus on this version. Love the fact that on both versions the break is nice and short. Should def be on top list for proggy-tech club dj's working this nastiness into people's hips/minds. 

Carlo Ruetz Remix keeping true to the vibe of the original - banging rave/techno interpretation focusing more on the rhythmic side of things along w/those high synths that were re-interpreted very nicely in this version; nasty, perverse thoughts penetrating your neurons.

Spektre are back on Phobiq presenting their latest sound, titled “Nightshade EP”. The title track sets the tone providing a bouncy bassline followed by atmospheric synth strings and some more intense percussions kicks . On “Serpentine” we are introduced to a more futuristic approach with soaring synths and stomping bass mixing up throughout the track providing an overall spacious vibe. Closing up the EP is “Macon Heights” with its groovy electronics and looped-out vocal snippets creating an epic momentum.
