“This song is inspired by 90’s US Funk Rock and Classic Heavy Rock - there is a Punk spirit too. The EXTREME record “Waiting for the Punchline” was a major inspiration; I love the live raw sound and vibe of this record. 

I was searching to elevate the song before the guitar solo and OUR DAUGHTER came up with the most perfect heart warming part, which I recorded and added. I love including OUR DAUGHTER in my music as it is a beautiful time capsule and is an overwhelming joy to hear her as she is growing up and developing an exceptional musical mind. 

This was such a fun song to produce and features the best guitar solo I have ever recorded. NEW YOU is about a new start and moving forward. I hope you enjoy it. Happy new year!”

I have enjoyed music for as long as I can remember and cannot remember a day of not either singing or listening to music. I am self-taught when it comes to playing guitar but what I most enjoy is singing which I have been doing since around age 18. Now retired singing and playing the guitar is now just a hobby and something I do to help pass the time. Have always  loved the sound of a Martin guitar.
