Over 2 years in the works, we can finally, and proudly, present the Leniz debut album: Perceptions of Reality.

Even though Leniz is still young and made his start when he was even younger, he's been to many places and has had a lot of experiences. Like many others, he's been through personal ups and downs. He achieved new goals and set new targets, met and said goodbye to people, places and chapters in his life. When writing this album, he took inspiration from all of these moments, creating a single comprehensive piece of work spanning several genres, moods and tempos. On top of that, there are several top-notch collaborations with Differential stalwarts such as Dustkey, Brainwork, and Rift, but also less familiar faces like Perspective Shift, Matt Freeman and Damzel.

The end result is an experience only available through pure expression and months and months of effort. Many words can be said about any of the tracks, but it's much better to take a moment and experience the album in full, as it was meant to be heard. Delve into the world of Leniz and experience his story whilst getting inspired yourself. Perceptions of Reality is guaranteed to take you on a journey and ignite your mind.

Soul Deep is excited to announce the release of the Remixes EP.  The EP features 4 Liquid gems from the Soul Deep catalog that have been masterfully reworked by 2 outstanding producers, PLTX and Silence Groove.  The EP kicks off with an energetic remix by Silence Groove.  He takes on the remix duties of the chilled vibes of Colossus’s track and transforms it into a stomping dancefloor stormer.  Next up, Silence Groove flips Kontrast’s song, “Intentions,” and gives it a dreamy Liquid vibe.  The song features snappy drums, thought-provoking pads, a deep Reese-style bassline, and echoing vocals that help round out the soundscape.  Dresden-based producer, PLTX, takes on the remix duties for Amante’s track, “About You.”  The talented producer takes Amante’s song and flips it into a dreamy masterpiece complete with fast-ticking drums, lush piano chords, a snarling Reese bassline, and swirling pads.  Lastly, PLTX remixes Impressions’ standout tune, “Little By Little,” flipping it with emotional pads, smooth strings, airy effects, and an edgy Reese-style bassline.  Overall, Silence Groove and PLTX nail these remixes in a way that only they can accomplish!  If you like Liquid Drum & Bass, then this release is right up your street!

Differential proudly presents "Hazy"; a collaborative effort by Leniz, Perspective Shift and vocalist Matt Freeman, and the first single of Leniz' ambitious debut album. "Hazy" is a fresh take on what defined Leniz so far. His collaborative effort with Perspective Shift brings us a soothing, deep rolling track, with an airy soulful drumline. The vocals of Matt Freeman really bring the track alive, taking the established atmosphere up to 11.

Leniz, (Querijn van Bijsterveldt) born in 2002, is a rising star in the world of Liquid Drum & Bass. He began writing his own compositions at just 12 years old, laying the foundation for what would become a promising career in the electronic music scene, which truly kicked off when he adopted the stage name Leniz at the age of 15 in 2017. As a producer, Leniz is genuinely soul-driven, with every track he creates coming straight from his heart. This dedication to authenticity, combined with his commitment to following his unique path, gives Leniz his distinctive sound and vibe. His sound is best described as melancholic and soundscape-driven, with a touch of old-school rawness. He draws inspiration from deep dives into the back catalogues of diverse genres such as drum & bass, house, techno, future jazz, and more.

In his 8+ years in the DnB scene, Leniz has garnered support from prominent figures such as LTJ Bukem, Technimatic, and High Contrast. His exceptional drum 'n' bass productions have earned recognition from renowned labels including Liquicity, Goldfat, Galacy, and Fokuz. Leniz has performed at numerous shows across the Netherlands and internationally in cities like London, Prague, Antwerp, Heidelberg, and more.

Currently, Leniz is working on new projects that promise to further showcase his versatility and talent. As he continues to explore new sounds and collaborations, his future in the music scene looks incredibly bright.
