One of my biggest influences for this EP was Burial.  I loved his sound design, how grainy and textured his tunes were.  As I was getting into UK bass music, I was smoking a lot of weed... and then I found out how fun Burial's ambient music was while stoned.  I wanted to make something that represented the journey I've been on, with all the stories told in the EP, and how I've walked a variety of paths.  By going through all those paths, I finally found a family and community that I love and know loves me back.

A.M.E.L was originally going to be an album, but after my computer broke, I could only gather the songs I had already prepared in the cloud... that's why I added the "collage" in the title. A.M.E.L is a physical-mental state, it's that indescribable feeling you feel before it rains, it's your intuition, it's that gray between sadness and happiness, the middle point between sweet and bitter. A.M.E.L is the darkness that moves the human being in search of his light.

Hey there, my name's Sean, I make music under the name SychoDivergent (my older stuff was Sychokallas).  I'm a producer in the LA suburbs, audio engineer by trade, but a guitar tech for my day job.  Making music was all I wanted to do.  After not finding success play in rock bands through high school and college, I heard what could be done with electronic music in 2014.  Soon after, I got a copy of Reason and off I went.  Nothing's off the table for me, but I'll never do the same thing twice.

Currently one of the most versatile producers in the scene, Hamdi’s ability to produce a wide range of styles and genres has made him an exciting prospect for any label to get their hands on. Hamdi’s signature blend of Dubstep, UKG and Grime has earned him support from some of the biggest artists in the world, including Skrillex, Knife Party, Fred Again.., Zeds Dead and Porter Robinson. Closer to home, Hamdi has consistently received support from the UK underground scene’s most prestigious acts, including DJ EZ, Skream, Sherelle and Mala. 

His track Skanka has taken the world by storm and was arguably one of the biggest Dubstep tracks of 2022, with DJ Mag writing '‘Skanka’ has already proven its staying power and firmly cemented its place as a modern classic.' Hamdi has also become known for his energetic DJ sets that have already taken him to India, Australia and the United States. As 3000 Blog wrote, ‘there really aren’t many who are keeping pace with Hamdi, as he tends to fly from deck to deck, pulling the audience from left to right in a seriously thrilled multi-genre ride.’ With releases on labels such as Bassrush, Deadbeats, and Vision Recordings already under his belt, it's safe to say the future is bright for Hamdi.
