Rarely do you find an artist with chord progressions so fluent and unique that it causes you to drift into your feelings. Or an artist with the ability to make you completely stop what you're doing and bounce your head up and down like a maniac until their song ends with a dead silence. But what's even more rare, is finding both those artists and putting them in one amazing release together. 

With the 18 year old R.O.M. from Dudley, UK and the 19 year old DEFFIE out of Los Angeles, CA, it's truly amazing to see both these artists come together without meeting a single time. 

While most producers generally meet in a studio to form ideas and create works of art, skype sessions, Facebook messages, tweets, and any other means of international communication are what aided both these producers in their development of their debut EP "RESONANCE". 

Containing wavy synths, magical melodies, stunning chords, and heavy bass, it's no wonder why these two have both gained support from BBC 1Xtra Radio, The Future Beats Show, Soulection, and many more. But with them being under other collectives, we are excited to have them as a part of the Kolossus family. 

This EP is their debut release on the label, and not only will they be releasing more in the future, but they will also be performing live soon enough.

Senpu -  Give Me Company

You may heard of Senpu from his earlier releases on Laruche or Mellow Orange, but if you have not, perhaps this is a good time to get acquainted. 
Senpu is a 22 years young Parisian beatmaker who started his musical path when his parents enrolled him at the conservatory where he could learn to play guitar, violin and piano. 

At the age of 17 he felt the need to create his own music, and after performing live on stage a few times, he decided to focus more on making instrumentals, sampling records from Michael Jackson, Duke Ellington, Bob Marley to Stevie wonder.
"Give Me Company" is a story about his love for travelling, and to discover new cultures. It is imbued with an ample range of percussions and vocal samples, all of which are part of his field recordings - We definitely appreciate the intricate approach to his craft.
