Born in Pretoria South Africa ,Leotonex has not looked back putting passion at the fore front of his life .He’s been living music ever since his talent , as a disco  DJ and producer was acknowledged not too long ago. He now releases under his newlabel leotonex records a sub label of mawela music, with a disco soulful touch.

A sleek, soulful new voice, Amiide is the Japanese native lead singer of CIRRRCLE. Alongside Amiide is A.G.O, the groups track maker. His live instruments and futuristic samples bring new waves to hiphop/R&B. Jyodan, the rapper of the group, has a unique voice and original cadence. Not only is CIRRRCLE musically unique, but also they are diverse. The group includes a sexual minority, African American lived in Japan for over 10 years, and a salaryman (Japanese typical business man).
And was recently performed live at Japan Rising (88 Rising x Red Bull Music Festival)

東京／ロサンゼルスを拠点に活動する国際派ヒップホップクルー。

2017年に活動を開始。神戸出身、ロサンゼルスで学生生活を過ごし、メロウなウィスパーボイスを持つシンガー/ラッパーのAmiide(アミイデ)と、アメリカ出身、東京での活動を経て現在はロサンゼルスで活動するラッパーのJyodan(ジョーダン)、新潟出身、現代のヒップホップ・ビートシーンの音を巧みに操るビートメイカーのA.G.O(アゴー)の3人からなる。自ら「ハッピーヒップホップ」と題する彼らのサウンドは、人種や生い立ちの異なるメンバーそれぞれの人生から得た等身大の思いや悩みを込めたリリック、ヒップホップの枠にとらわれない、様々なジャンルの要素を取り入れたトラックで独自の立ち位置を築きつつある。



わずか2年足らずという活動期間にもかかわらず、昨年リリースしたEP「Fast Car」の表題曲がSpotifyグローバル版の巨大プレイリスト「New Music Friday」に掲載されるという快挙を成し遂げた。

昨年末からi-D Japan主催のパーティを皮切りに、国内で複数のライブに出演、2019年3月30日には初大阪ライブで大型イベントと言われる「ROOM 4th Anniversary」と4月10日には、「RED BULL」が主催する『RED BULL MUSIC FESTIVAL』と88risingがコラボレートしたイベント「Japan Rising」、さらに5月1日には米ロサンゼルスでの豪華アーティストコラボライブにはThe Flavr Blue, Rekstizzy, 他超大物スペシャルゲストとの出演が決定しており、その勢いはとどまるところを知らない。

Born in East Germany, Ronald KOON's first musical passion was almost exclusively Michael Jackson. In the late 1990s, he discovered French electronic music, which was then becoming popular in the charts. After many nights of partying in clubs and festivals as an enthusiastic partygoer, he first stood behind the decks in a club in 2007, back then still with vinyls. Later, he and his crew organized a legendary party series in his hometown for many years, which was dedicated to French electro of the late 2000s, the "French Kiss". He then increasingly devoted himself to disco and other electronic sounds of the 1970s and 1980s and began producing his own music.
Ronald's sets, which are heavy on edits and presented with eclectic energy, are a mixture of classic and contemporary disco and house. The varied repertoire between jackin', soulful, funky and a touch of UK is always driving, exciting, danceable, always good for a surprise, full of heart and never far from the great voices, grooves and melodies of the disco era. His often avant-garde and mostly tongue-in-cheek outfits round off Ronald's presence behind the decks to a lasting experience.
Ronald KOON's releases on smaller international disco and house labels have already received some attention in the scene. He is a regular member of the DISCOnnect collective, which organizes its own events and publishes a monthly DJ podcast.

Been messing around with recorded music since 1995 when i got my first turntables, always been a music fan, record collector, got into various forms of dance music over the years. big fan of early house and acid, the chicago house sound, funk, disco, boogie, synth- pop, re-edits, electro and some techno, hiphop.......bla bla bla.
