Originally from Miami FL, Rick began to DJ in '87. A decade later, he was introduced to House music while living in Atlanta. He was a resident for Starchildren, who had a long standing Friday night residency at Club Sol. He became a local favorite and was asked to work at Satellite Records, under Tommy Sunshine, where he held a part time job for several years. After a small hiatus and a move to Denver CO, he started a family and has now returned to his passion. His new mix series, "Unwind Your Mind", is influenced by the desire to be able to put aside your daily troubles and enjoy some music therapy. Underground Colombo (UC) was envisioned by Kushan Dissanayake, and his co-founder, Kasun Dissanayake, who is known as Kais D. This dynamic duo, driven by their shared passion for underground music, embarked on this journey together in 2016.

Inspired by the vibrant energy of Sri Lanka's music scene, they had a vision—to cultivate a close-knit community that immersed itself in the rhythms they cherished. Alongside them was their best friend, Buddika Wijebandara, forming an unbreakable trio.

Their first step was the establishment of a Facebook community, a digital haven for kindred spirits, which rapidly flourished and now boasts a dedicated following of 15,000 strong. But that was only the beginning.

Determined to take their passion to the next level, they decided to launch their own SoundCloud page. This expansion was made possible with the unwavering support of Azmara Veera, a pivotal figure in UC's journey. She, along with the team, contributed creative forces that allowed UC to venture into new territories.

Encyclopedia was founded in 2021. Since its creation, the artistic direction has been driven by the design and creation of visual and musical supports. Encyclopedia's activity is mainly focused on the promotion and distribution of DJ artists in the world of progressive house Organic House & Progressive. In three years, more than 250 artists have emerged, totaling more than 600 mixes around the world (England, Germany, Italy, Hungary, Spain, Portugal, Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Israel, Turkey, etc.) and great artists of Progressive House and Progressive.

Encyclopedia also deploys a wide range of artistic interventions, which aim to share the different facets and singularities of our concept. Initially, the ARAWAK project is part of this dynamic and made it possible to set up the first electronic digital festival, in collaboration with Bianco Vargas dj living in Brazil, with whom we had been working since the first season.
