XYZ and When We Dip present the Selectors series, where we give our family of producers an opportunity to display their prowess behind the decks. Expect unreleased material from across the label collective, as well as classic gems and heady grooves from some of the undergrounds finest heads.

Hyunji-A’s productions showcase her knack for evoking nostalgic feels, coming up with alluring textures and using her classical piano education to tell stories through her tracks, even sometimes sprinkling her very own voice on top.  She recently released the 'Stars & Satellites' EP on our TOR imprint, and we could not be happier to welcome her back to the Selectors Series.

Iniciou seu projeto há cinco anos, dando vida a festas de amigos e a eventos de finais de semana em sua região. Devido à qualidade de som que apresenta, seu público tem gradativamente aumentado.

ITA é conhecido especialmente na região do extremo oeste catarinense, sendo reconhecido como uma força jovem da música eletrônica e que tende à ser expoente tanto nas pesquisas das músicas quanto na apresentação em casas de shows e baladas, provendo à todos sua música de qualidade, requisito para bons apreciadores de techno e vertentes similares.

Itamar Simão, known regionally as DJ ITA, is one of the founders of the Progressive Connections label. Their sound has as its central characteristics a progressive, melodic, organic and extremely contagious sound.

He started his project five years ago, giving life to friends' parties and weekend events in his region. Due to the sound quality it presents, its audience has gradually increased.

ITA is especially known in the far west region of Santa Catarina, being recognized as a young force in electronic music and that tends to be exponent both in music research and in presentations in concert halls and clubs, proving to everyone its quality music, requirement for good techno lovers and similar trends.

Bianco Vargas is a constant presence in Santa Catarina's nightlife, born in the city of Porto Alegre and based in Florianópolis, Santa Catarina, in his performances he creates a cadence between organic and progressive music with vibrant timbres, creating an energetic atmosphere as he incorporates sound elements that lead to a reflection of experience that is the dance floor.
In addition to being the only DJ trained by AIMEC to perform at the Warung Beach Club and one of the only DJs alongside Daniel Kuhnen to play with the Florianópolis Symphony Orchestra, Camerata.

At Warung School, he was highlighted, with his set coming second in Ricardo Albuquerque's masterclass among hundreds of students and a track released by Warung Rec at Drunky Daniels' VA. Passionate about all aspects of house music, he moves comfortably between genres. He has already performed at the itinerant parties Trip To Deep (Florianópolis), Groove Society (Toledo-PR), Pacha Tour Ibiza (Chapecó).

Resident of the renowned nightclubs from Itajai to At Home and Lake Clube in the west of Santa Catarina, he has also been to the most underground dancefloor from Florianópolis to Terraza a few times, including recently closing for the German D-Nox. He played at the renowned Brazilian club Warung Beach Clube in the 2020 carnival alongside &ME, Adam Port and in 2022 he opened the garden for Lily Palmer and also debuted on the main dance floor of the temple where he warmed up for Boris Brejcha and his crew.

Recently as a producer he released tracks on the labels Another Life Music, Terasonic Records, Arbor Recordings and PHM Records . Bianco is a resident of Sushi+Art (Florianópolis), Noma Sushi (Praia Brava) and has his own labels Dont Label Me that reflect all his love for music.

He drank from the source of Warung and clubs in the Santa Catarina region at the beginning of his career, where he saw historical presentations of his greatest references that shaped his way of playing. Despite not currently labeling himself, it can be said that Marttinez was one of the first artists of this second wave of Progressive House Djs and Producers to promote the style, which began to gain strength again in mid-2014. Host of the Tapa no Jog podcast and one of the organizers of InProgress, a collective that, in addition to a podcast with over 200 episodes, has already held showcases at clubs such as River Club, and at D-Edge, Marttinez has performed in Santa Catarina, Brasília, Goiás, Paraná and São Paulo, including the club D-Edge. Notably a technical and parametric DJ who always seeks to bring a high emotional charge to his sets at some point, which comes from a vast research that is not limited to styles.

In three years, more than 250 artists have emerged, totaling more than 370 mixes around the world (England, Germany, Italy, Hungary, Spain, Portugal, Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Israel, Turkey, etc.) and great artists of Progressive House and Progressive.

Encyclopedia also deploys a wide range of artistic interventions, which aim to share the different facets and singularities of our concept. Initially, the ARAWAK project is part of this dynamic and made it possible to set up the first electronic digital festival, in collaboration with Bianco Vargas dj living in Brazil, with whom we had been working since the first season. ARAWAK is a very innovative concept, and counts among its DJs: Bianco Vargas, Marttinez, ZANELL, Carmee, Kaito Aman, Fabiano Feijô, Glamour's Joint, Luciano Scheffer, Marcelo Strega, Carlos Tk, Patrick Medina, Bohnen, Lenharo, Sebastian Portman & Rgn.
In the following seasons were guests (Korb, Grife, Isadora, Leozinho, Long Brothers, Caio Endi, Leila Scheiwe, Halaros, Tonaco, Murilo Damasio, Carla Cimino, Kotsi & Anhert, SARAH CHILANTI). Encyclopedia does everything possible to ensure that ARAWAK has incredible visuals and great promotion broadcast on all streaming platforms such as Spotify, Soundcloud, Mixcloud, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter & Youtube.

Encyclopedia as a broadcaster has put together other playlists like Voyager, Mesopotamia, Destination and Monophony that you can discover on streaming platforms. After 3 years of development in Montpellier in France, Encyclopedia is in full evolution and created with Aglaia Rave a solid and professional collaboration on the creation & cooperation of the Encyclopedia Edition radio.

Aglaia Rave & Leo Baroso have been working closely on the EDITION podcast for more than 2 years. Her knowledge and professionalism make Aglaia Rave a major element in the evolution of Encyclopedia and the various projects to come. Encyclopedia Radio is also keen to welcome residents for residency. Each artist belonging to this large Encyclopedia family brings cutting-edge and professional know-how to their work.
