Guest mix Simulation

Here's my label mix for the amazing SPOTLIGHT series on Saturo Sounds, this time we chose one of our favourite labels and selected their tracks that tickle our audiosonic fancies. For my first mix, it was a no brainer for me, I HAD to choose soundcloud.com/meanwhilerec. The Melbourne based label from soundcloud.com/gmj-fulcrum & soundcloud.com/matter has impressed from day one of their relatively short lifespan with release after release of deep, cosmic, soul defining, emotive progressive house. Bio:
Coming across the catchy beats of styles like Deep, Organic or Progressive House can really be a one-way street. That's exactly what happened to Dan Grimm and Diego Feder, two young people who were enchanted by the transformative potential of electronic music. With a background that ranges between the complex lines of classical music, progressive rock and even the classics of the 70s-90s, they developed skills to express themselves through a language capable of making bodies dance intuitively. And then, GRIFE was born. The aesthetic sense based on experimentation, two “curious souls” and a keen ear, painted, right from the start, soundscapes that traveled the world.

From a magical debut on Lee Burridge's TRYBESof, in its first compilation (2020) with the track “Life's Not a Contest”, to the support of a maestro like Hernan Cattaneo on the Sunset Stream Solar Eclipse edition in Bariloche (ARG), it was visible that they would expand their sonic DNA much further. Afterwards, the remix alongside Albuquerque for “Lost Desert” on Warung Recordings, from the legendary Warung Beach Club and a new collaboration between the three on the renowned Soundgarden, by Nick Warren, has been revealing a trajectory that begins to establish itself in an admirable way. The future is unpredictable and sometimes even cloudy, but GRIFE is committed to presenting the world with an expressive and brilliant sound that will make you live the moment and dance like there's no tomorrow.

Cristian Zumaeta Bio-

Cristian Zumaeta es un joven DJ/Productor nacido en Argentina. Su travesía en la música electrónica comenzó en 2015 cuando asistió a sus primeras fiestas rave. En 2020, Cristian se encontraba viviendo en Nueva Zelanda, Allí decidió iniciar su carrera como DJ. Desde entonces, ha tenido la oportunidad de llevar su música a diferentes lugares en Nueva Zelanda, Argentina y Australia, compartiendo el escenario con artistas de renombre de la escena Progresiva global. Su sonido se caracteriza por un estilo deep y progresivo, cargado de ritmo y mucho groove, lo que le permite crear una atmósfera de viaje y baile garantizado. Actualmente, Cristian se encuentra aventurando en el mundo de la producción musical, trabajando en su propio sonido y disfrutando del proceso.

Encyclopedia was founded in 2021. Since its creation, the artistic direction has been driven by the design and creation of visual and musical supports. Encyclopedia's activity is mainly focused on the promotion and distribution of DJ artists in the world of progressive house Organic House & Progressive. In three years, more than 250 artists have emerged, totaling more than 600 mixes around the world (England, Germany, Italy, Hungary, Spain, Portugal, Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Israel, Turkey, etc.) and great artists of Progressive House and Progressive.

Encyclopedia also deploys a wide range of artistic interventions, which aim to share the different facets and singularities of our concept. Initially, the ARAWAK project is part of this dynamic and made it possible to set up the first electronic digital festival, in collaboration with Bianco Vargas dj living in Brazil, with whom we had been working since the first season. ARAWAK is a very innovative concept, and counts among its DJs: Bianco Vargas, Marttinez, ZANELL, Carmee, Kaito Aman, Fabiano Feijô, Glamour's Joint, Luciano Scheffer, Marcelo Strega, Carlos Tk, Patrick Medina, Bohnen, Lenharo, Sebastian Portman & Rgn.
In the following seasons were guests (Korb, Grife, Isadora, Leozinho, Long Brothers, Caio Endi, Leila Scheiwe, Halaros, Tonaco, Murilo Damasio, Carla Cimino, Kotsi & Anhert, SARAH CHILANTI). Encyclopedia does everything possible to ensure that ARAWAK has incredible visuals and great promotion broadcast on all streaming platforms such as Spotify, Soundcloud, Mixcloud, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter & Youtube.

Encyclopedia as a broadcaster has put together other playlists like Voyager, Mesopotamia, Destination and Monophony that you can discover on streaming platforms. After 3 years of development in Montpellier in France, Encyclopedia is in full evolution and created with Aglaia Rave a solid and professional collaboration on the creation & cooperation of the Encyclopedia Edition radio.

Aglaia Rave & Leo Baroso have been working closely on the EDITION podcast for more than 2 years.
