This week we are joined by emerging talent Reich, known for his passion for hypnotic & bleepy rhythms. He believes that music should be a visceral experience that moves and connects people on a deeper level. His goal is always to craft an intimate and energetic atmosphere on the dance floor by finding a good balance between old and new records.

As a resident and studio manager at Open Source Radio he is an active contributor to the scene in Nijmegen. At OSR he runs a show called Perceptual Disturbances, where he creates audiovisual journeys in collaboration with VJ’s. With another residency at the Netherlands’ longest-running club night, Planet Rose, along with appearances at festivals like Drift- Om te dansen & Het Nest and having played in renowned clubs like Basis and Perron, he shows he is a force to be reckoned with in the techno scene.

Meet Ġorġ Vella, better known as STK, a 24-year-old DJ from Gozo, Malta. DJing since August 2022, he recently ventured into music production. Interestingly, this marks two years since he recorded his first Locals mix. Reflecting on how his style and technique have evolved over time, STK is eager to hear this new mix alongside his first to appreciate his growth as an artist.

STK's journey into electronic music began with a series of lockdown sets posted by Void, Selekt, and Indigo. A standout set by Aspekt sparked his deep dive into techno, and discovering Chlar cemented his love for the genre. Chlar’s unique sound continues to inspire him as he hones his craft.

For STK, DJing is far more than just spinning tracks. It is about being a purveyor of vibes and emotions, understanding the set time, acoustics, the sound system, the promotion, and most importantly, the crowd. These are the foundations he has built on through experience and countless conversations about the art of DJing. Over time, he has realized that breaking norms, taking risks, and expanding tastes are essential to forming a unique identity as an artist.

STK credits much of his inspiration to local artists like Patient, Muski, and Gordon Flash, while Damz and Nikky have shaped his perspective on presence and technique. He also admires Manthrax and Sean Rickett for their brilliance and insights into the scene, his favorite B2B partner Georg, and the turntablism of Echofaze. On the production side, he looks up to Acidulant, Human Safari, and Yazmin for constantly pushing boundaries and reaching new heights.

As a DJ, STK thrives on the liminal experience of connection, the energy radiating from the dancefloor, the inhibitions fading as early arrivals settle into the vibe, and the continuous exchange of emotions. Whether fueling a frenzy during the early hours of a 6-hour party or weaving a story through a 3-hour set at a 24-hour rave, this dynamic reassessment of energy is what makes DJing so fulfilling for him.

For STK, this process defines his artistry and his commitment to creating unforgettable moments on the dancefloor.

This release is special to us, as it is our 10th VA. We are incredibly happy with the support we have gotten since we started this project. We want to thank all artists who has released on our label, and all people who supported our music. We are in this together.

GUIDLLE is the first guest of this FisuraProject Podcast Series .

Originally from Andalusia and currently based in Madrid , 

Guille AKA Guidlle is a passionate advocate for vinyl techno. Despite years of experiencie behind the decks, it wasn’t until he discovered this format that he truly immersed himself in the world of electronic music.

While his sounds are modern and influenced by the European techno scene of recent years, the tracks he mixes have a raw and hypnotic vibe that harks back to the ‘90s. He strives to remain faithful to the traditional and straightfordward mixing style inherent to vinyl, with long blends where the tracks take center stage and the Dj’s role is simply to merge them organically, gradually building tension and releasing it at the precise moment.

Currently making a name of himselfe in the local techno scene, Guidlle is best know for his video sets where he openly showcases his mixing style. These sets have inspired people worldwide to venture into the world of vinyl.

Fisura Podcast Invites #001 | guidlle [ONLY VINYL SET]

In search for purpose, stuck in a loop of grooves.

For a while, I have been narrowing down my sound by getting inspiration on the dancefloor and from the artists in my circle. Allowing myself experiment as much as possible and gaining clarity on my style of mixing. For the first time, I felt like I reached a certain point of understanding of my sound and would like to present the debut mix ‘Loop State’ for my new series Echo Of My Own Shadow. The aim is to escape the echo of past self through shadow work, presence and consistency. Stop worrying about being perceived and break free from the box.

The broader vision is to show the imperfections of the journey and eliminate the gap between my real self and me as an artist. To be as versatile as possible, unpredictable at moments and aligned with the rhythms. Delivering hypnotic sounds with authentic energy. 

Echo Of My Own Shadow is not about mastery, but momentum. Every recording is a balance between pressure and release, where the sound tells the story my words can’t. Each groove holds a mirror to something internal - forgotten, distorted, or evolving. This is a conversation with the unconscious, a ritual of becoming, a refusal to be defined.
