Immortal Contact was a transformative journey into the depths of my soul where I was called to utilize every resource that I had in order to bring this song to full fruition. I worked with the pallet of samples that were provided by Mad Zach, used samples from Splice, and created my own sound in these works.  I included vocal performances from Karra and Rudeboy MCs that I thought fit the theme of the project along with reflecting on what was happening in my life. This song is a story about love, loss, perseverance, strength, and resilience.  On our path, we will find ourselves experiencing the highest of highs along with the lowest of lows, but may we find power and have faith in knowing that life is always happening for us, giving us the resolve to continue moving forward, towards our highest vision that we have for ourselves.  I would like to acknowledge ill Gates, Spiderhound, Seth Drake, Cryptochronica, 6th Street, Hexis, and Clint Moody for their contributions to the co-creation of my debut release and express my deepest form of gratitude for their guidance, mentoring and support. Terra Cotta Soldier is named after the army of 8,000 clay soldiers kept in the tomb of Qin Shi Huang, the first emperor of China, from around 200 BC. These soldiers were made to protect the emperor in his afterlife and each one carried a weapon and was the size of a real person. The solemn mysticism around the flute, paired with gritty basses and ever-changing atmospheres feel like they depict the life of a holy warrior whose responsibility is sacred yet everlasting.

When Terror Reid released his latest EP, "Hot Vodka," Bryan (Bemah) came to me with the idea for a remix. After he sent over the initial project file and kicked it off as a head-bobbing dubstep track with the infectious style of Terror Reid's beats and rapping, we were instantly hooked and really focused to get the track done.

What came out of it was a halftime tune with several different bass music genre influences including dubstep, neurohop, leftfield bass, and experimental hip hop. There was never a dull moment in writing this tune.

"DRIVE" is a heavy, cinematic halftime tune created after taking time to experiment with some newly-discovered sound design. My goal was to create a progressive, energetic journey of futuristic sounds and melodies that also seemed concise.
