resident dj at Lucid Mind Events

Smithex is a hitech dj project from Germany. 
His craft is about shaping high energetic dj mixes.

Leon Schmidt started mixing tracks when he was 18 yo. He got his first mixer after a club visit in his hometown Herford. X Herford, Pappenheimer played and made tasteful sound.

Amazed by that event, he got more and more into mixing. 
At that time techno , also hardtechno, schranz, melodic, uk, ambient, electronic.. mainly techno music.

At first, inspired by Pappenheimer, later by sound likely Setaoc Mass. Nowadays his sound is raw, rolling, hypnotic.

He played in several clubs and in live shows / podcasts.

When he was 23 yo, he got into hitech / psycore. 

Senseful moments on the floor made him additionally take another path. Kick off was a Live set on one of the first BPM parties in Steinhagen. The german darkpsy/core producer "Orbitalnoise" built the bridge to high bpm goa genee for the 'techno padawan', as Multimodal Boss Rafael Silesia used to call Leon Schmidt. Orbitalnoise just hit the right spot. Words are not good enough. Dancefloor snippets to find on Instagram at Smithex.

Became resident at BPM Collective, quit may this year. 


Since nov' 23, he is resident dj at Lucid Mind Events.
