For most, if not all of Season 10 of Grey's Anatomy, the director decided she just wanted 80's covers.  I was asked to take a shot at it by a good friend and ended up doing 6 of them.  The first one was "Total Eclipse of the Heart" which Jill Andrews sang beautifully on.  I also did this song and several others by myself and with friends like Gabe Simon and Konrad Snider.  This song is featured in Season 10 Episode 20 of Grey's Anatomy.  I did it in only a few hours and never expected anyone to like it, but they did and that's usually how it goes :)  The cover art is a large painting by one of my favorite artists and friends, James Perrin. As old as the editor himself is the great hitsingle from Kajagoogoo, which came out just one year before lead singer Limahl quit the band and had another big single hit with "neverending story", his share of the original sound track to Wolfgang Petersen's movie of same title. The hookline is so catchy that I couldn't believe there's no proper disco edit out there, so I did it myself. It's dedicated to the Goldengrün and it's great crew and my DJ fellows.
