Every living thing is born from bias.
And so is kindness.
Mercy is a law of asymmetry:
you gave more than you received,
and yet the system grew.

Mercy = Energy Given – Energy Returned.
Conservation of Kindness > Heat Death.

Equation:
Self = (Past + Present + Future) projected through Love.

Chart topping dance act GRiZ’s electro-funk take on Before I Go Away was released by the DJ last year and has garnered millions of streams to date. This follows from their previous collaboration A Fine Way To Die which also has streams in the millions. The single from Leo’s EP ‘Mind Up’ (out Autumn 2017) premiered on Wonderland in June 2017 and has already picked up millions of Spotify streams. The EP is a collection of urban tales, a mix of classic funk/soul with hard hitting electronic rhythms produced by eclectic worldwide talents. Parallels EP

Maha Quest - Doctor Fumu

Leo Napier has become a "prominent voice in the electronic funk/soul arena" (Stereofox) since emerging from the New York EDM circuit in 2015.   Leo came on to the scene by contributing several songs to projects by pioneering DJ/producers GRiZ and Gramatik. He captured the attention of Wu-Tang Clan’s Raekwon, who features alongside Napier on Gramatik’s most successful single to date, “Native Son.” The stellar collaboration was followed by “Native Son (Prequel),” also written and performed by Leo. It went on to become the lead track off Gramatik’s full-length album, Epigram, released in 2016.

It’s been a busy year for Napier, who once again teamed up with GRiZ on the track “Before I Go.” Their previous collaboration “A Fine Way To Die” has garnered millions of streams to date. 

Leo is a musical chameleon. His voice and lyrical tendencies lend themselves to a variety of genres from folk, to hip-hop and Neo-soul.  His versatility and magnetic stage presence captivate audiences wherever he plays.

His upcoming record is in-keeping with recent collaborations within the EDM genre, a mix of classic funk/soul with hard hitting electronic rhythms. The songs are gritty urban tales with a cast of colourful characters peppered with Leo's signature brand of dark humour.
