Born Nov. 28, 1989, Christopher “Cleva Criss” Gallimore grew up to become a remarkable combination of a Reggae artist, songwriter, producer, and business owner. As an ingenious experimental artist, he is also the owner of the “Clevamix Recordz” (CMRDZ) record label. At an early age, he was intrigued by the different loops, and progressions that make up a song and how it affects an artist’s delivery. That curiosity blossomed into a passion and not long after Cleva Criss discovered that he was quite musically inclined. Things were not always bright and positive however as the artist struggled with many personal problems stemming from the death of his mother and simultaneous breakdown of his first serious relationship. These issues would take years to overcome through deep self-introspection and observation, different meditative techniques and mentorship. Now, years later, as an autodidact audio engineer, user of various DAW’s and piano and drum player he continues to produce high quality music and work with other producers and artists. As for his music, Cleva Criss continually dishes out a variety of educational, motivational, self-loving and self-improving lyrics between controversial puns and metaphors, which he says is just a form of self-expression and love for what he does, as he dubs himself ‘The Lyrical Therapist’!
