Peace & Blessings to you ALL! Welcome to the 106th Episode of Soulfrica Vibecast. In this episode, I focused my selections on Soulful tracks to remind all my listeners that House Music's foundation is based on Black music, derived from Soul, Funk & Syncopation of Disco Music. Indeed, this important contribution as with so-many other factors is why we celebrate and remember "Black History Month". It is also an important reminder that in the midst of all the electronic offsprings that have multiplied throughout the decades, historically speaking it is important to listen and learn your music history if you are a true lover of House Music.

That being said, this mix is paced with some Jazzy House tunes throughout, some familiar and some not. I wanted to show my love of House in a way that would help me transmit to the listener, dancer or DJ alike. I hope that you enjoy this lovely musical journey! This week's special guest was none other than Andy Knowles, aka YORKEE, one of the founding members of NDC Radio and all round top bloke. Yorkee is a veteran DJ with a massive music collection, spinning tunes since the late 80s. Yara has been a returning resident DJ at luxury resort Lux in the Maldives, she is now back to Maldives as a Resident Dj in Seaside Finolhu  –  she is no stranger to island resort life, she also spent 6 months playing at W Maldives and has just recently opened for the brand new Lux North resort which has just launched to the public… she was the first DJ to play there on the Island. Yara has perfectly crafted her deep sunset sessions, she gets asked back to play every resort she’s been to! Being very versatile she can adapt and play open format too.
