Bumpin' On Sunset by Wes Montgomery.

A few months ago my Pat Martino Benedetto had been in the shop a while so I had to "slum it" with my Gibson Wes Montgomery model L5.
Here is my take on the alternate take of Bumpin' on Sunset.

Made a couple tweaks to this latest version, Erik Miron gets credit for finding the wrong note in my double stops and John Mulhern helped me setup the reverb busses.

Wolf Marshall helped me with the triple stops. You use a "cowboy chord" shape for those.

While pursuing my doctorate in education I was studying with the famous guitarist/author Wolf Marshall. I became interested in the work of Pat Martino, specifically his improvisations on jazz standards. Pat and I have become friends over the years and I have, with the help from several other people, begun producing a book of transcriptions of Pat Martino’s improvisations on jazz standards that I hope to someday publish.
