This time we have the pleasure to present ItalOscillazioni an artist who has dedicated his life to music, he is also a collector of italodisco vinyls, mostly produced in the first half of the 80s and sung strictly in Italian or instrumental: quite rare records since just few copies of those were printed, with which he enjoys making DJ sets..  

Elvio Seta, in art "ItalOscillazioni", has always been a great lover of vintage synthesizers and everything from what the 70s and 80s stand for. Milan based found a winning formula for his passion mostly live performances where these instruments are the main protagonists: his live shows are characterized by very marked bass turns, on which he enjoys crafting typically vintage melodies and sound effects.

As I was born in Italy in 1978, I spent most of the time of my childhood listening to Italian Radio, watching Italian TV programs and breathing those wonderful atmosphere you only could breathe in Italy in the mid eighties...My mother wants me to play classical piano, but I prefer to listen and play Italo on my synthesizer: unfortunately I got most of my synth now that I am a little older, but finally my goal is to find and replicate the spirit of that music I had listened when I was a child, with my old sister's friend at parties, trying to look like a Paninaro, eating a Big Burghy at Burghy while trying to singin' Carrara's "Shine on dance" and P.Lion's "Happy Children" in my fake english, and so on...At the moment I'm trying to do the music I love, mostly some kind of Italo Disco, with the instrument I prefer, obviously analog synthesizers like Moog, Yamaha DX 7 and Roland Juno 60, sounds that I recognized in most of the production I liked a lot...A lot of help comes from Italo-Nigerian singer Sonia "Voltage" Fondors, a very classy girl with a great attitude. As we don't have so much time for working at our music (life's hard!) the most of the tracks are work in progress...Anyway I want to upload here some of the music, I hope you find it interesting, at least!
