World Wild Web's organ, guitar and drum machine-led music nods to the global Cosmic continuum, and explores themes of anxiety, overconsumption and Web 3.0. The album features creative and catchy vocal dance tracks in both English and French (Colony, La Nuit, Je Mange Des Animaux, The Best Is Yet To Come), scrappy guitar anthems (Pills, Don't Quit!, Scrolling) and exotic Cosmic joints aplenty (PA 2, M-Gola, Druid Dance). The Imaginarium is a unique pearl gleaming within the beautiful galaxy of Lithuanian festivals. Super small in size, yet abundant in beauty of all kinds, the festival is – first and foremost – about the joy of the creation process. This is an essential aspect of human growth that is often overlooked during modern-day events.

Pretty Much tribe nurtures a culture of support, mutual creation, and skill-sharing. With every third person of the community having learned how to use the DJ decks, it was only natural to take a step forward into music production. This is how five producers were paired with six beginners to go on a unique musical journey together for this compilation of six tracks. Each of them explores the idea of connectedness since the main theme of The Imaginarium VII was about transforming aloneness into oneness.

We believe that genuine and meaningful connections are what every human being truly seeks. The question then is: what if some of the energy put into hyping up people with big names was redirected into fostering co-creation? How much is it possible for a person to become more authentic & open up due to the environment?

To answer this, Pretty Much tribe has built a utopian village, where everyone is called by their name. An idealistic culture that values sharing over commerce. A space where every individual can bask in the sun of imagination by playing an important part in the collective. Get inspired to give in to oneness by immersing yourself in the ripples of ‘Echoes of The Imaginarium VII’.

Foundation Music is proud to present ‘The Flowers EP’ by Foremost Poets aka Johnny Dangerous. Back in the news after being featured on the Grammy winning Alien Superstar from Beyonce’s latest album - but for those that know - he has never gone away as he is always on someone’s dance floor. Foremost Poets productions and his vocals are simply devastating and label head, Ross Allen, has been a fan since he first heard the Nu Groove classic ‘Reason’s to Be Dismal’ on the reworked Richard Long Edition.  It was a record that blew him away then and now, recently played by Pete Tong on Radio One, and with Sven Vath including it on his anniversary compilation too. Ross signed this record when he hooked up with Johnny in New York 3 years, but wanted to wait until the time was right. That time is now.
 
‘Flowers In the Attic’ is no normal dance record, clocking in at thirteen minutes. It’s an epic Johnny D production, falling into that place where funk and house come together in the most magical, danceable way. It’s long but enticing, taking you through different phases and surprises you as it sucks you in, twists you up, and pulls you out. ‘Escape From Dubai’ is almost trance like but with that New York lean that keeps it very much on the right side of the Foundation Music fence. Full of funk, it has a deepness that builds and swells into an epic journey that takes you to another dimension. The broken beat of ‘Don’t Shut Your Eyes’ closes out and is another piece of New York/ New Jersey up-tempo funk, syncopated and grooving with a repetitive hook, that goes deep via its Hammond organ solo and jazzy vocal.

Here comes the first of three remix packages for A08’s “Waiting For Zion” album.
The peruvian maestros Dengue Dengue Dengue! present a highly energetic broken beat rework of “Nineoneone” with a tropical twist. 
Nerk, musician and co-founder of Berlin’s supergroup Toktok delivers a brilliantly crafted uptempo electro dub version of „Yamahaica". 

Dengue Dengue Dengue! is a musical duo of electronic music from Peru established in Lima, made up of Rafael Pereira and Felipe Salmon. The highly contagious duo have brought a new level of tropical madness to the cumbia world, fusing modern production savvy with traditional rhythms. Their early tracks caught the ears of bloggers and DJs around the world but it wasn’t until their 2012 debut album, La Alianza Profana, that they really received worldwide recognition. Together with the Auxiliar Collective, they have cornered the market in neon tropical bass exports.

Nerk, aka Benjamin Weiss, a member of the legendary Berlin rave act Tok Tok has a long, extensive history in the techno community. As well as a writer for formerly leading German music magazine De:Bug, he has a long recording history collaborating with Dirk Leyers on Kompakt, Klang, V-Records and many remixes to his credit.

Michael Reinboth’s first ever release under his real name. After early Beanfield productions, circa 20 remixes (some old ones labelled simply Compost Remixes), more than 30 compilations and 30+ years of running Compost, a few 12”s under alter egos, the Compost boss decides to liberate the alias and mystic.
“Let The Spirit” is a kinetic cover version of a house classic, released way back in time on Ron Trent’s legendary Prescription imprint. It has no samples, everything is self-programmed and produced in team play with Jan Krause (Beanfield). The flipside brings us the trippy “RS6 Avant” which comes in two versions. The Cosmic Version is a invite to float over the Landstraße (or the dancefloor with eyes closed in the late night hours). And as Michael loves to drive fast too, he decided to add the Club Version - a much more energetic take with which works a treat on peak time dancefloors (and the Autobahn of course).

As we continue our mission of dancefloor exploration into the colder days ahead, we reanimate one of our favorite revenants from the bottomless underworld to warm us back up.

An immortal product of the robust Detroit scene, Joel Dunn now serves as a commander in our growing Satellite Trax fleet. Last year's "Michigan & Rosa EP" [STRX008] under his dubstep-centric alias OktoRed cracked our foundation with blistering bass weight. This time, he returns to our sublabel by way of his Marshall Applewhite project, cunningly named after the deranged leader of Heaven's Gate.

Known for cultivating bass workouts that gravitate towards modern electro, Marshall Applewhite is back with a fresh tracklist of cult classics. "We Dress For Dinner EP" is a hate letter to the eerie autumn breeze felt after supper, capturing the essence of our shapeshifter's many stylistic forms. For his slower paced, hypnosis-inducing tracks, he has coined the term "sludge" as a niche descriptor and potential subgenre to build upon. This can be heard in the opener "Acid Beans," a midtempo meltdown and theme song of experiencing poison damage. The EP looks into the future with "Ravioli Raid," stepping on the tempo throttle with its clear ghettotech influence and ode to pasta. "Old Risotto Lung Charlie" keeps the octane flowing through cleverly syncopated yet unforgiving bassline intended to devour dimly lit dancefloors. The acidic bassline in "Meat Droplets" is an insignia of Detroit dwellers, assembled around an inimitable groove reminiscent of early techno mornings. "Sunday Dishes" is a suitable pick-me-up for weekend warriors in the form of smooth, tasteful jungle with no aftertaste.

As a newfound tradition and homage to last year's "Vengabus" on STRX008, Marshall Applewhite closes with another Bandcamp-exclusive track. "Mr. Vain Cover" flips Culture Beat's 90s anthem into a DJ tool drenched in his "sludge" aesthetic. What he hilariously described as "MTV techno" is willfully drained into a garbage disposal for our morbid curiosity.

There are few entities that better represent our personal slice of the Motor City's vibrant underground than Marshall Applewhite. His latest offering is yet another testament to the urban grit and grueling bass that are integral components of our sonic DNA.
