Unique and boundary-pushing artist Daniela La Luz announces her highly anticipated 3rd album, ‘System Reset’. For the first time, Daniela has personally compiled all the music and artworks, showcasing her signature diversity in this 11-track collection of genre-blending gems, while remaining rooted in electronic dance music.

The album will be released on double vinyl on June 1st and digitally on June 21st on her record label 'Dimension Of Being Human', founded during the pandemic.

Having spent a decade in Berlin, Daniela now resides in Munich, infusing her diverse experiences into this LP.

Daniela introduces 'System Reset':

"Due to a cascade of personal crises, I needed a 'System Reset' and chose this title to draw a parallel to our planet's circumstances and the duality of life and death.

This album is a mix of dancefloor-oriented pieces and acapellas, ranging from classic house to techno and dub, flavored with electro, wave, jazzy, and breakbeat influences. Amidst the hedonistic and fun-loving existence of modern humans, the fundamental theme of duality highlights the rising troubles of our sick planet. We seem to not understand the difference between civilization and technology, feeling invincible. Nevertheless, life and death coexist as the world keeps turning.

Half of 'System Reset' was written and recorded in Berlin, the other half in Munich, connecting my past, present, and future. The artworks were AI-generated. The double vinyl artwork prints include all lyrics for sing-along purposes. I sing in English, Polish, and Arabic.

What's important about my musical works: The initial first take, the first wave of intense creative energy and emotion, carves the path for a composition. 'The Power Of The Now' marks my workflow as a producer, musician, songwriter, and singer. It defines my style and excludes overworking my compositions endlessly. When it's written, it's written. The unique vibe of the moment dominates over the perfect, endlessly refined sound engineering. Each track is crafted with the same care and spontaneity.

The album funding from 'Initiative Musik' allowed me to collaborate with others and manage all involved processes. For the first time, I let others handle the mixing of my music. The sound and structure remained unchanged, but several parts received noticeable sound improvements. Most tracks on this LP were mixed by Tobi Neumann and J Manuel at Riverside Studios Berlin, with mastering by Manmade in Berlin."

"Musique Pour Enfiler Des Perles" is the third EP by Poison Gauchiste, aka Eric Labbé, following "Musique Pour Faire Différentes Choses" and "Musique Pour Monter En Haut". It is the result of a slow maturation process, shaped by summer idleness and long winter evenings over the past two years. The EP features five compositions that, as always, blend quirky influences with distinctly personal oddities.

Caution: several of these tracks contain rhythms that might inspire dancing — though it’s unclear whether listeners will actually follow through, given the spells of languor and melancholy that occasionally drift onto the dancefloor...

After a 12-year gap since the release of two albums and two Eps, Linda Mirada presents her new album ‘Qué largo es el verano’. Featuring a collaboration with North Satellite, production and mixing by Metro Area’s Darshan Jesrani, contributions from Bart Davenport and Daniel Collás of the Phenomenal Handclap Band.

Linda Mirada’s new album got off to an unforeseen start a few years ago when she proclaimed - “I’m going to record a record in Italian”.  To this day that idea has still not been carried out, but her first record in twelve years has since materialized. It doesn’t feature a single song in Italian, but it breathes the spirit of the early 80s pop in southern Europe with flashes of Italo disco.

The idea of recording an LP was born from a conversation with Daniel Collás that opened an unexpected door. What began as an exchange about musical affinities activated the need to reignite old ideas that had been put aside. The vertigo of composing and recording music gave way to the pleasure of working on songs. Time in the studio, collaborations and stories that grew as they came into contact with melodies were all guided by intuition, fertile disorder and the complicity of those who crossed paths in the process, plus a few coincidences. The result is a sensational collection of songs that moves between intimate hedonism and gentle melancholy. There are echoes of the most sophisticated sounds of the 80s, the candor of early electropop, influences of Mediterranean pop and splashes of disco. All with a fresh look, without indulging in nostalgia or clichés.

‘Qué largo es el verano’ is an album made with joy and care. It channels Mirada’s influences into songs that shine with their own light. These seven tracks – plus a PHB Dub - crystallize a very personal way of understanding music as an everyday space, where the production is not the main focus, but with an intention in each note and in each chosen sound. This album brings Linda Mirada back to the forefront of a little-trodden but necessary territory; that of Balearic pop made with sensitivity and elegance. And the single in Italian is sure to come one of these days.

Low Tape - Cosmic Tides

Almost a year after the release of the EP Transmissions, acclaimed upon its release by France Inter, RTBF, Tsugi Radio, Pedro Winter, among others, the DJ and producer duo Housecall is back with a special remix reissue, made for the dance floor.

Four artist friends each reinterpreted one of the tracks from the original record. This includes a progressive house remix by NairLess, a UK bass remix by Versant, a dark disco remix by Sapphist Eye, and a groovy house remix by Charleeps. To close this musical chapter on a high note, Housecall delivers an original track, a flamboyant disco rework of the outro Répertoire.

Transmissions Remixes will be released on Wednesday, September 24, followed by a release party at Superflu (Paris 18th arrondissement) on Saturday, September 27, from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m.

Hey there!! I'm Laion, 99% producer and 1% DJ - for very special occasions mostly! I've actually been a DJ way before producing any kind of music, and learnt the ropes directly on vinyl, in a very different register though - my first love was with reggae! Production came quite a bit later, first with thePhilosophica, with whom we had our first encounter with Sinchi Collective for a couple of releases. We also released on labels  like of AEON and Melopee Records, besides a season on Rotterdam-based Operator radio. In 2023, I started my solo project, aiming for the fun of the dance floor and the catchy (cheesy?) melodies. And only this way could I release an EP fully dedicated to my girlfriend's dog. How did the meaning of the tarot card inspire the journey of this mix?

What spoke to me most about Spring – Onamiel is the sense of new life, fresh beginnings, optimism, and positivity. As a brand new father, I immediately thought of my daughter — how joy can start with something as light and simple as a smile, and how playfulness and learning naturally go hand in hand. With that in mind, I built this mix around tracks that celebrate our playful and joyful sides, bring moments of comfort and feel-good energy, and carry a hopeful sense of what’s still to come.

Chiwax welcomes Daniela La Luz ! We've had already the honour to present this outstanding Lady on Rawak & Housewax. Now it's time for some Acid House on Chiwax. Come Into My Land is a very promising EP including 4 club tracks with the remarkable touch of Daniela. This EP is called "Come Into My Land", for a reason. It is related to the "Alkaline diet" theory, based on Otto Heinrich Warburg, a german physiologist, medical doctor and Nobel laureate. Warburg investigated the metabolism of tumors and the respiration of cells, particularly cancer cells and in 1931 was awarded with the Nobel Prize in Physiology for his "discovery of the nature and mode of action of the respiratory enzyme". The award came after receiving 46 nominations over a period of nine years beginning in 1923, 13 of which were submitted in 1931, the year he won the prize. The tracks "Natural High" and "Acid Base Balance" are related to the above mentioned theory.
