We are glad to announce the birth of Fonogrammi Particolari, a new record label based in Milan whose main goal is to reissue old school Italo classics in their original form but backed with brand new edits and remixes. The first issue is this essential cover version of Material's noisy disco classic “Take A Chance” made popular by Mr. Flagio and originally released in 1983 by the Squish label. This cult track appears on the A side in its original form and on the B side in re-edited and reworked form by Fred Ventura and Paolo Gozzetti aka Italoconnection. Enjoy the old and new sound of Mr. Flagio!

"Mothball Records" as you might know already if you follow us carefully is a label devoted to italo-disco curated by "Hysteric" , one of its finest connoisseurs. When “Walking in the Night” by "Giusy Dej" was first discovered as an incomplete track on the rare "A Touch of Class" compilation, many italo fans were really surprised when it was later found as a single. It represent the perfect mix of dark italo-disco and minimal-synth elements with raw lo-fi production. Without a doubt one of the most cult and sought-after discoveries in recent years. Not to forget: once again we are lucky enough to have "Flemming-King Of The Cut-Dalum" on remix duties, here turning in one of his greatest reworks to date ! Making a living as an artist is a struggle in most parts of the world. It seems to be the borderless conundrum of having a passion for art and a fever to create. One perk of the job though, is that no matter where you go, you're bound to find family. No matter the city, around the bend of every club or bar there seems a familiar face. Odd Oswald was one of those blasts from the past that we found ourselves reunited with in our travels this past year. At one time a celebrated San Francisco disc-jockey and promoter -- Odd O aka Brian B stepped into the smoke of the European music scene and never looked back.  Busy behind the curtain as a label/tour manager for big name acts, we knew that his new found perspective could only have added to his already killer approach to digging and mixing. So, to show an old friend some new tricks, Odd made us this mix - his last one for us was back in 2012(http://bit.ly/2m1NoHv). The penchant for dark and filthy sonics that made his bay area sets such a delight are still present in this 2hr acidic rave-jog - but these selections are razor sharp, preposterously programmed, and grab you harder then the punch of an epi-pen.

One of Dancing Astronaut’s artists to watch in 2017 and the man behind one of the most impressive debuts of 2016, Beatport #1 album ‘One Day of Independence’ on Guy J’s Lost & Found, returns to home ground. This time in the shape of 5 incredible remixes by some of electronic music’s most intriguing and brightest stars.

Lehar, Luca Bachetti, Patrice Baumel, Termoment and Lost & Found head honcho Guy J have each reinterpreted their favourite off Khen’s future classic debut.

‘Imaginal Cells’ has been repurposed by the label boss himself into a beautiful slice of melodic goodness. With trippy FX details and a serene breakdown, its yet another Guy J classic rework. 

Diynamic's Lehar offers his take on the Khen and Guy J collabo ‘Prism’, turning down the intensity of the original with a sophisticated touch, he leads the track to deeper waters with an infectious melody that marries the familiar underlying key elements of the original in perfect symbiosis.

The sonic voyage continues with Luca Bachetti’s groovish take on ‘Authentica’. Adding to the recognisable lead melody, he gives the track an almost cinematic and atmospheric treatment that leaves you longing for more.

Patrice Baumel, fresh from the success of his recent remix of Cubicolor, tackles ‘Land of Goshen’. Taking the track in a more driving and pumping direction with a nod to 90s classic Trance, this track will cause a stir in sets from dusk to dawn.

Closing the collection on a trippy vibe with hints of old school Acid and an uncanny detailed soundscape that will leave you in awe, is Termoment’s take on ‘One Day of Independence’. A beautiful and fitting finalé to this weighty package of reworks.

J.D. Jaber - "Don't Stop Lovin'". This song is original from 1983 published by the legendary label Memory Records, its composer was the great Antonello Gabelli (Cheaps, Duke Lake and Faxe among others) 

This musical theme is considered as one of the great Icons of the Italo Disco and masterpiece of Memory Records in its beginnings.

The voice in this masterful musical work is by Paradiso Gilioli and the arrangements were made by Antonello Gabelli himself, Paradiso Gilioli and the great Stefano Cundari.

This Reissue comes with a remix by the legendary Flemming Dalum and on top a special ZYX Remix by Victor Ark from the label Blanco y Negro Music.
