Dirt Crew sublabel Spiel started out in 2013 with three nice releases, the first two by "Clancy“ featuring remixes by “Urulu” and “Prins Thomas” followed by an ep from "Mercury“. After a hiatus Spiel is back for 2016 with a new four tracker. Hailing from Leipzig "Good Guy Mikesh“ is a guy with a pretty massive array of releases & remixes (on Permanent Vacation, Ellum Audio, Renate Schallplatten or Riotvan to name but a few) and a huge range of influences from funk/soul to 80’s new-wave electro and back again.  "Why Not" here featured is a deep and dreamy wonder. The bass slips and slides dancing with the top line while a palette of plucked strings, tuned percussion and Mikesh’s signature synth soundscapes reach into the distance as the track continues to roll.
