Premiere: NAUFRAGI - Mongo [Ombra International]

We are back with K#018 brought to us by the Mexican duo formed by  Javier Martinez and Fernando Velázquez, mostly known as Undefined  Pattern.
"Lane Reduction" was born when the two young producers decided to  create their vision of what a dance peak night track should be. Inspired by long road trips, they produced two cosmic, dark anthems for the dance- floors. Both originals are filled with rugged bass lines, cosmic synths, and  dystopian percussions worthy of a voyage into the unknown.
The remixes are delivered by Cornelius Doctor and Motel 77.

PREMIERE : Javier Martinez & Undefined Pattern - Lane Reduction

Lifted from his latest “Dreamweaving” EP (https://ffm.to/endm0003), Elninodiablo’s oneiric journey of a tune “Dorothea’s Rainbow” returns in the form of a four-track remix package featuring the likes of Norwegian cosmic disco maestro Prins Thomas, fabled UK vibist Ray Mang and Berlin born and raised talent Perel, in addition to Elninodiablo himself.

Channeling telluric energies and dubby, kosmische-laced electronics through a multi-faceted ride that keeps on shifting angles and tempi, Full Pupp head honcho Prins Thomas kicks it off on the smoothest note possible. Built as a full-fledged 12-minute long mini-odyssey, the track winds out a luscious mix of Afro-funk indebted drums, acid-dyed bass and further cross-pollinated cosmic disco dynamics. Most of the drum and bass parts were played live.

An absolute master groove-musher, British legend Ray Mang (Mangled, DFA, R&S, Toy Tonics, Eskimo… etc.) harnesses the power of the Italo-disco gods to weave a romantically jacking revamp; bridging the gap betwixt straight up electro heat and brass-laden funk from outer-space. Intrinsically tailored for the dancers’ pleasure, this one’s bound to bring crowds to a steady simmer, just as is true with every Mang-led piece of work.

Third in line is Berlin’s own Perel (DFA, Dischi Autunno, Uncanny Valley) muscling in with a hi-velocity revamp, clearly tuned to make heavy damage on the dancefloor. Taking the original in a whole new, 100% club-oriented direction as well, Perel’s version fast-forwards us in an endless corridor of arpeggiated frenzy and lusciously synth-splattered firepower. Bespoke, pumped-up weaponry fully geared for peak-time action.

Final remix comes from Elninodiablo himself, who gives way to the fevered appeal of jungle drums, Venusian disco and powerhouse bass from hell. The result is a no-nonsense DJ asset, boiling up to a hectic momentum of restless robotic flute lines and filtered keyboard volutes painting the background all kinds of vivid summery colours. One to get the tiles of the roof flying off sharp and clean.

After two stunning manifestations on ‘Muy Duro’ compilations the Austro-Turkish duo, Hanzo & Yaman, fall on Duro with their first full EP for the label and it’s loaded with a powerful remix from DFA legend The Juan Maclean.

“Die Neue Welt” the main title is a reminder that no matter how hard you try to run away, the new world has arrived. A world where biology and technology are one and the same. A world created with synthetic and organic percussion, melting and waving synthesizers, and a robotic voice. The Juan Maclean put out a stripped club remix, where every element needed to make the dancefloor explode is kept and escalated to the next level.

“Atari Maedchen” is the second blazing original and has an obsessive and twisted synth lead that brings to feel locked inside an arcade room. Last but not least is “Niemandsland” a mystical, astral melody synth carries us along with a tempestuous rolling slice of percussive hypnotica.

Cadee makes his Factor City debut with three great original tracks driven with leftfield electronics and followed by healthy remixes by Jackwasfaster and label honcho Undo.
Cadee is the project through which Diego Cadierno releases his more dancefloor oriented works. 
After more than five years exploring more “brain” fields (idm, breaks, electro...) with his alias Promising/Youngster, which allowed him to release in labels like Sin Hilo, Nebulae or Several Roots and play live all around Spain, Diego feels the need to go back to his more hedonist roots. This “Happiness” EP is the first released under this moniker. 
Opening the record we find “Besta”. A very personal song with sinuous synth lines and filters. The percussions and vocals, along with the bass line drives a hypnotic and deep track. JackWasFaster remix is more raw, edgy and straight to the dance-floor, playing with the orginal synths and vocals, and adding what sounds like a distorted synthetic mouth harp.
The second track “Moving Circles” it's a playful and melodic song that captures the essence of Cadee’s approach, teasing the release with its floor-focussed sharp beats and synth stabs.
Closing the Ep the tittle track “Happiness” it is a reflection on the happiness and responsibility of bringing a child into the world. A deep and wide tune with arpeggiated bass riffs, haunting vocals and vaporous guitars.
Undo strips down the original of its more Pop elements, vocals and guitars, and pays homage to the bass in his remix adding an hypnotic groove and mental synth lines.
