The new EP on It’s a Pleasure imprint is conceived as a kaleidoscope of Jaisiel’s previous releases where pop and house converge in a seamless embrace. 
A side is all about the infectious radio hit “Nada Que Ver” and its mesmerizing Remix by Lipelis who made its magic to turn the original track into a super fun and dynamic certified dance floor journey, where thick bass frequencies and classic M1 organ bass sounds will take you on a trip alongside Jaisiel’s hypnotic voice.
In the B side we entry into the dreamy realms of a UK rave in the 90’s with the pulsating energy of “El Amanecer” (Tenerife ’89 Mix), a synesthesia feeling where you can almost see the sun rising in your imagination while listening to it.
Following and closing the EP, an intimate and groovy acid tune “Sobre Cien” that invites you to chill and re-connect with your inner nostalgia, lyrics are about a big theme nowadays after Covid times, which is escape the noise of big cities and remember the value of your hometown, family and all time friends.

Here we go again! The return of the Greek DJ and production duo Boys' Shorts - this time in remixed form!
»On The High Line« and »Dark Room Rendez-Vous« from their first ever release for LIVE AT ROBERT JOHNSON get the remix treatment for even more Boys' Shorts dancefloor mayhem.
First up is Romain FX with his »Pressure Remix« of »On The High Line« and the title gives a hint to Romain's approach: He indeed adds a bit more pressure stripping down the former 80ties fueled track by adding a big big bass line thus achieving a more concentrated punch in general. By keeping DJ City's beautiful cool vocals for their remix they manage to keep the same lascivious quality you find in the original version. We say: Mission accomplished.
The next ones are a real "All in"! Jason nocturne doubles his stake straight away! Two versions for you! Keep it rollin' "On The Highline", or do you like it more acidic? The choice is yours!
Former Chicago-raised and socialized DJ and producer Alinka is next with her version of »Dark Room Rendez-Vous«. We're happy the Ukrainian-born and now Berlin resident Alinka is back for LARJ twisting the knobs just the right way transforming the track into a straighter and slightly darker monster the original instrumental already is. It's a winner, thank you Alinka!
We stay with the same track but now it's Mala Ika's turn. The French producer originally from Guadeloupe throws in a deeper bass drum into her remix and holds this extra energy over the whole six minutes. Mala Ika also adds a happy little synth melody that transforms this typical dark tune into a joyous yet still dark track.
All in all these three remixes can be seen as a beautiful supplement to Boys' Shorts original outing and will definitely find their way to the clubs all over the world.

Based in Valencia, Loudeast Records has been putting out quality house business to serious dancefloors since 2006. Founded by seasoned DJ and producer Nacho Marco, the label has played host to KiNK, C-Rock, Duckbeats, Terry Lee Brown Jnr, The Timewriter, Mateo & Matos, Midi Drop Music, Fred Everything and Kiko Navarro himself.  For their next release, Loudeast proudly presents Meloglen, the Mallorcan/ LA duo which is comprised of producer Melchor Rossell who has released on 20:20 Vision, Robsoul, Suara, Liebe & Detail and of vocalist Aqeel, who has worked with the mighty Dr Dre, Mala Rodriguez and Chacho Brodas. Their sound draws heavily on the influences of the legendary Detroit Grand Pubahs, the sultry touch of Moodymann, and the funked-up-ness of Parliaments’ George Clinton.
 
‘Elegant Art’ kicks off in minimal fashion with brooding bassline, and vibey as fuck vocal from Aqeel that dances around with the sparsely placed horns and intermittent effects. On ‘For Hire (Nacho Marco Remix)’, the vocal flow and moody swagger of Aqeel is dialled up to the maximum alongside emotion filled piano house keys. The floor focused ‘Attitude’ picks up the pace and is all about the spoken word (Is Prince in the house?). Comprised of Ethan Allen, Josh Charles, and Steven Davis, ASHRR was a chance for these three to let loose, distilling down soul- infused, funked-up space disco, new wave and indie electronica. Born at the end of the 80s in Bastia, Corsica, François Dagregorio alias "Valerj" comes from a generation in which long formats occupy a special place in the discographies of electronic music artists. It was with this in mind that the production of "Le début du beau", Valerj's debut album, began: an almost fantastical desire to show something more intimate, to tell a story, perhaps his own story.
A child of dance music, dj since the age of 16, in the space of just three ep's Valerj's productions have already toured the world, appearing in the sets of major players on the dark disco / indie dance scene such as Jennifer Cardini, Curses, Perel and Modular Project. Always keen to collaborate and exchange ideas, since 2022 he has
also crossed paths with renowned artists such as Damon Jee, Roe Deers, Amarcord and Joe Lewandowski on remixes.
Despite his obvious affinity with the dark disco scene, which is still very active today, the artist has chosen a completely different path for this "debut album", reconnecting with influences that are much more house, ambient and electro.
Metro Area, Dj Koze, Boards of Canada, Nina Kraviz, Anthony Rother, Miss Kittin & The Hacker, Jimmy Edgar - the list of heroes could go on and on, but that's not the point. Avoiding the trap of the "dancefloor compilation", offering music that can be

Manakinz are Scottish duo James ‘Harri’ Harrigan and Max Raskin. One part synonymous with the monumental Sub Club and his Subculture residency going strong for 30 years, and one of Glasgow’s best kept secrets, Max Raskin, formerly of the Liquid Lounge and Sunday Circus. Initially Harri & Max were just sending out tracks to friends in the know, but when Andrew Weatherall picked up the blower to say he was loving what they were doing, they upped the ante and have since been putting out on Let’s Play House, Future Boogie, Monologues, Refuge and Mitchell Street. There are plenty more projects to come in ’24 with Jasper James (Harri’s son) and for Ashley Beedle’s North Street. Watch this space.
 
For their second release on Model Citizenz – the imprint created to house their vast dungeon of music created from endless hours tinkering and foot tapping - Manakinz come again with WHIM! The seven cuts on this maxi EP represent their take on a dystopian future, where the dark overlord ‘His Lordship Whim’ bends the world to his unique desires.
